Concierge/Club Level Information - Part II (Sept 2009)

That is awesome!! Have a wonderful time. 10 days at BC CL?! How fabulous.

I'm now even MORE excited about our upcoming stay there. Looking forward to your pics and TR.

Just popping in to say we are at beach club cl now on day 5 of 10 and couldn't be happier. Awesome room, awesome service... All cm's are fantastic!! Our favorites are vilma and Carrie . All of the staff have just fallen all over dd and gone out of their way to remember her name. Just really nice people. Great lounge offerings too! Can't wait to post lots of pics and a trip report when we get back.

Our mousekeeper has even left dd two towel animals!

Does anyone know if this ever opens up? The Cm swore it would open before we go December 10th, but she said to just keep calling back. How often should I call? I don't want to drive them crazy.

I am hoping before June so the can set up our ADR's and my birthday dinner.

I hope so!! I haven't even been able to get a second TPV CL room!! We're a Grand Gathering, and I could only get one CL room, the other one is regular TPV. I was calling every day (partially just to get a daily dose of Disney), but I'm going to start calling weekly. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Just wanted to say how great BC IPO is! I emailed them early this afternoon asking about the Wishes Dessert Party and giving them the dates I prefer. Within an hour I had an email back from Xio saying that they had noted my preferred dates and were waiting for the 28th to be able to book it.

They are so nice and so efficient!

I was so worried this morning when I woke up and there was no email from the Poly IPO ... so I gave them a call when I got to work and confirmed that they were able to get me all my ADR's and booked my fishing excursion.

The had emailed me this morning but my one email account has been acting really funny lately so not the IPO's fault

The only thing I had requested that they couldn't get was of course the Wishes Dessert Party...still no word on when it's going to start back up again...

All of my "important" ADR's were at the exact times so I was thrilled..there was only two that I had to re-book times for because IPO made them earlier than what I had requested...

So here's the plan!!

Arrival Day - Sept. 20 - California Grill - 5:50 pm (but I re-booked for 7:35 pm)
1st MK Day - Sept. 21 - CRT - 8:05 am
Epcot Day - Sept. 22 - Le Cellier - 12:00 pm (but I re-booked for 1:10 pm)
AK Day - Sept. 24 - Jiko - 7:00 pm
Fishing Excursion/last night at MK (hubby's day) - Sept. 26 - Artist Point - 5:30 pm

WooHoo!! So Excited!! Now I only have to wait 6 more months....BTW Denise & Amanda at the Poly IPO office rock!!

The only resorts where I have stayed Club Level is the Contemporary and Polynesian, however I have never seen strollers being offered. So if guests ever had them in the lounge then it was ones they brought from their homes.

In all of our stays I've never heard that, but the only way to know for sure would be to contact whichever IPO you're working with and ask them.

I have heard of this. In fact in January I witnessed bell services delivering 2 strollers to a room at AKL CL.

I however would never want to worry that they wouldn't have one to use when I got there and worry about the condition of it. I would probably rent from an offsite company if I didn't want to bring my own.

There was a time, strollers were complimentary for concierge guests. I do not know if this is still the case.

There were complimentary wheelchairs and strollers at one time in the concierge level. At the Polynesian, these items were stored on the first floor in a little cubby space next to the staircase to the lounge. The strollers were always distributed on a first come first served basis. I haven't really looked in that area in many years so I don't know if they are still available or not.

We always took our own or rented strollers in the park when our kids were young. Today, however, the cost is outrageous to rent them.

Not a stroller, but we borrowed a wheelchair from AKL for our stay in Nov. the first one was real tough to push, so we traded it in when they had a new one. First come, first served. Maybe they had strolloers, too? Wouldn't hurt to ask!
