Concierge/Club Level Information - Part II (Sept 2009)

I just made a reservation a couple of days ago for next Friday, the 26th. I sent an email to IPO and got an automated response that they would get back to me in 24 hours. I haven't heard from them and I'm wondering what number to call to make contact since it is so close to our arrival.

I just wanted to put in a room request. We are totally winging the rest of this trip

Same thing here and I got 5:00 ressies at Le Cellier on Mother's day no less. Poly IPO has come through for me every time. I even ordered a haunted mansion cake for our ann. dinner at California Grill.

So I'm new to this (posting photos) so for now click the link. I ordered this as a surprise for my husband since it is his favorite attraction. Marble cake and dark chocolate mousse in the center. Poly IPO was fabulous. The cake will be $65 and the good part is we are going right back to the Poly so we can put the rest in the fridge. Ironically if you look at the cake it says 22 yers which is what we will be May 7th lol

They definitely have access to tables the general public system does NOT.

This is a huge advantage and sometimes allows you to book at places you'd normally think 'No way can I get that at this point' ...

So.. there ya go.

On my last trip to Poly, they were able to secure my family the early breakfast seating at CRT. It was one of the highlights of our trip with our 5 year old!

We had the 8:05 on the first day of the kids' first trip, and it was absolutely magical!! Since we are taking three newbies (all of whom are in desperate need of some magic!!), I was hoping for the same ADR. Glad to hear of your pixie dust!

I thought only Kidani had the sleeper chairs and the CL 1BR units are in Jambo house.

Hi - i posted this on the regular resorts thread, and someone suggested i post it over here. I was very surprised to learn today from someone's live trip report that the Yacht club lounge is being refurbished, so they are operating the CL out of the presidential suite.! I'm a little dismayed by this, because it seems like it won't be as nice a setup, but maybe i am wrong? Any thoughts?
I do kind of wish they had told me when i booked, because i moved over to YC from GF and this might have affected my decision. Now that i'm going in 3 weeks, I don't think other properties are available if it wanted to move.
Should I make a big deal about this?? Thanks for any opinions..

your welcome, Anne. her lates review doesn't rate some of the CMs as so hot unfortunately but the week is still young!

We returned yesterday from staying at the CR CL. It was a great place to be.

We're staying CR-Atrium CL in June. When we want to pay on our TTTW card balance , can we do that at CL or do will still need to go to the front desk?

I'm not sure about that. We just left a visa at check-in and the balance is automatically charged and they give you an express check-out statement on the last morning. We just said good-bye to the CL staff on our way out. There was no settling up to be done.

You can pay in CL.

Sleeper chairs are listed as part of the unit...Does not specifically say Jambo or Kidani...We stayed at Jambo once when they first converted to DVC Villas and I cannot rememeber for sure but I think I do remember there being a sleeper chair there.

We have stayed at both Jambo in a regular and CL 1BR and in a Kidani 1BR. All three rooms had the sleeper chair. It is my understanding that the only 1BRs that do not have the chair are the value units as they are smaller.

For the first time ever I will be letting CL handle my ADR's this Wednesday ... Im so nervous Has anyone been making their ADR's for September lately? Are you getting your choices? How has the CL staff been in handling your ADR's?
