Sorry if this has been asked before, but the search engine isn't helping me today :rotfl:

What kinds of beer and wine are available in the CL? We are staying at YC in October. We aren't wine/beer snobs at all, just curious as to what beverages are offered.

And, is Sambuca ever offered as part of the evening cordials? Do you think if I asked IPO if they would have it that particualr week?

One more -- is chocolate milk available? It's vacation, so that would be a great treat for my girls.

Thanks in advance!

We just transferred yesterday from the YC to the CR. The Regatta Club had Sam Adams Seasonal (currently Summer Ale), Bud light and possibly Bud, all in bottles in the fridge with the sodas. Zinfandel, Merlot and Chardonnay were in full-sized bottles near the coffee machine. There was chocolate milk in a thermos/pitcher. I don't recall seeing Sambuca, though.

Thanks! I appreciate the reply. If there's any other info. you want to share, I'd love to hear about what food is offered currently (esp. things kids might like).

I hope you are having a great trip :goodvibes

From 7-10:30 they had sliced boiled eggs, bagels, toast, mini chocolate chip muffins, fresh fruit, bananas, apples, prepared oatmeal, and blueberry danish.

Until 4:00 they had Swedish Fish, homemade potato chips with a dip, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies with Mickey sprinkles and perhaps an oatmeal raisin cookie.

From 5-7 they had chicken satay, sliced ahi tuna, cheeses and fruit. They may have also had PB&J out (not Crustables), but I may thinking of the Atrium Club.

From 8-10 they had assorted small-sized dessert slices, I recall chocolate and lemon cake/torte. They also put-out the cordials and took away the wine. Though I heard a guest ask for wine and they brought out two glasses for her.

There is always yogurt and sodas in the fridge, but we had to ask for milk, except at breakfast.

I'm sure someone will help add anything I've omitted.

Thanks again! Chocolate chip muffins would be a huge hit with my kids -- hope they are still in the rotation in October.

Hope you are having a great time at CR too. I'm sure the views from the Atrium Club are spctacular.

Can we have friends up to check out our room? Or what is the policy on that?

When we stayed at the Poly CL, my parents and nephew came over for the day to visit. (they live local) The CMs were great and told them to enjoy the offerings in the lounge with us! :goodvibes

How long again are you staying at the Contemporary, because maybe I will see you when I arrive there this Tuesday.

Based on the wording of your reservation your room will be on the 12th floor.

:) well i guess i will have to wait and see. Speaking with the reservation folks i didn't really hear the word "Atrium" at all, however, i am sure both are pretty awesome. Looking at my bill and the rates online though i am pretty sure it is a Tower (14th floor) room (maybe they are going to surprise us with a suite :goodvibes ).

The more I think about it you might be on the 14th floor, because on my families confirmation it says Standard Room - Atrium Club, which you said was not written on your confirmation.

I just want to say, I hope you are enjoying the start of your vacation!!

:goodvibes

All this talk about wine got me thinking.... do the BWI/YC/BC CL lounges offer champagne at "dinner" time or is that just at the GF?

I thought I remembered reading something about extra toiletries...am I right? Do they give you stuff at CL you don't get in a regular room?
