Concierge / Club Level At The Poly

We cruise 11/24-12/1 (first time!!!) and then return to WDW on the 1st ...I've already purchased our 12/2 Very Merrry Mickey tix so now I have to stay a couple of x-tra days....we're DVC members but have stayed in most resorts except the monorail ones.....my kids love the Poly ..... Concierge w/ a lagoon view is running about 5 and change...we AP holders....................has anyone out there stayed at the Concierge level at the Poly - - it would just be for two nights but I'm lusting after it.....is it worth the extra cash --- like I said we're AP holders so we should get some kinda discount then, right (anyone know about how much off the regular rate of about $500?)

We stayed there in years past and have always loved it. The food and service is one of the best on property (AKL being our absolute fav). We are visiting the Concierge at the Poly in December and really lookingforward to it. There pre planning office has been absolutely wonderful.

Thanks...we're really excited about it....I'm wondering if the room rate will come down when the AP rates come out for that time of year....or does that historically not apply to concierge level accomodations? thanks...can't wait to go even though it will be at the at of our WDW- then cruise - then back to WDW trip!!!!

We've stayed Concierge lagoon view the last 4 years. It it too expensive but we love it.
My 2 DD 13 & 16 have fond memories of Chef Dick and the whole staff.

We are AP holders and stay there occasionally - I did stay there last December (the first of the month) and had a rate - I can't remember if it was an AP, AAA or code - anyway there were no LV availble for the rate but I got GVC for 350ish.

I am going next July and a friend who is a travel agent got a group rate for the Poly concierge --- I can't remember exactly but its 414 for LVC that week with the group discount and just over 300 for the GVC.
