We have stayed at PP concierge (and loved it) and am wonder what is different, better? at the other hotels? (waiting for those great AP rates this fall.....)

I'm waiting for those AP rates too! :rotfl:

I've stayed concierge at PP and GCH. We really liked both - but prefer the experience at GCH overall. The lobby there is much more secluded, there is a private check in for GCH concierge guests, they come to meet you at your car when you drive up and have someone take your luggage while they whisk you upstairs to check you in! Overall I felt the service at GCH was much better - we didn't get turndown either night at PP which I complained about but nothing happened. Also when we arrived we were told we would get a regular room instead of a concierge room at the PP so our rate would be somewhat discounted to make up for this. Well, when we get the bill it wasn't discounted at all! Other than that we did really enjoy the PP - the slide is great, the hotel is fun and friendly looking, very clean and happy and has the Disney touch.

Some other things to note - GCH has a lovely balcony from concierge lounge where they pipe the music for the fireworks (great to be up there all cozy with your coffee and hot chocolate!). The GCH lobby is opened much later than the PP lobby. GCH has board games - didn't see any at PP. GCH has more food offerings - for example they have high tea kind of thing with little sandwiches and teas which was really nice and they have sweet endings with lots of dessert choices including chocolate strawberries. There also was a lot more concierge only activities scheduled that I noticed. If you go during Christmas season GCH has the carolers do a show in the lobby - the kids are laid out on sleeping bags in front of them! - right before the Christmas fireworks. Highlight of my trip! I really loved being spoiled in the GCH (thanks to them Ap rates!) but I still really love the PP too. Can't wait to try DLH!

Any specific questions, just ask!

How did they know to meet you at your car? We stayed in March and nobody met us.
