hi this is my first post. This site has helped me many times before and Im hoping it can ease my concerns. I have been to DLP at christmas, halloween and in may but I am taking my 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter at the end of august and Im getting the picture that the crowds are gonna be much worse than what I have seen before. Can anyone guide me on just how much worse so I can prepare. Also how would I book a charactor meal and what sort of price will it be?
Thanks in advance

We went last August and although it was busy it was quite manageable. We could ride IASW, POTC, teacups etc with queues of no more that 20 minutes even through the middle of the afternoon. :goodvibes If you have a look at dlrpmagic website they have restaurant menus which will give you an ideas of prices of the character meals.

This fills me with hope!

Hi seanpurdy2 :welcome: to the Disneyland Paris Trip Planning & Community Board.

Hoping you'll have lots of fun on here    please join in with any thread or if you have any questions please start a new one of your own.

If you haven't had a look yet, the DLP DISboard posting rules are here and the DIS posting guidelines can be found here. :)

Even though August does get very busy I've got to say it's my favourite time to go. I find the longer hours and summer (hopefully ;) ) weather far outweighs any crowds or queues.

You can book your meals up to 60 days in advance on 00 33 1 60 30 40 50 or else you can wait until you arrive and book them through your hotel concierge or at City Hall. I would advise booking in advance if you've set your heart on a particular day and place, otherwise you should be fine waiting until you get there to book.

I think that as you've been before, you'll be surprised how you can navigate and pick out what you want to do and when, even with crowd levels.

If you're staying on-site make the most of EMH. Be there for 8. After 9 it starts to get busy. Take a rest after lunch, maybe back to your hotel for a swim if you have a pool, or even just a stroll round the lake to get a breather.

And of course, use fastpass where you can. :thumbsup2

Seeing Fantillusion in the evening will make it all worthwhile :goodvibes
