Concerned about discovered Private Party

Hi folks!
I will be at Universal Orlando on Friday, Dec 1 through Sunday, Dec 3.
Everything is already purchased, including tickets, VIP Tour and package stay at Royal Pacific.

I just came across this information through an advertisement regarding the Orlando Informer

Essentially, it's a private party where the parks close early.
It looks like the parks will close at 7PM on Friday and 8PM on Saturday.
What time do the parks normally close?
Is this just a completely after hours event or am I getting time cut out from normal park hours?

What else would I have to worry about?

They don’t close early, that is the regular closing time. You’ve got a VIP tour, which I have never done and don’t know anything about, so I expect you’ll be fine. You also have Express Pass so will have plenty of time to get rides, etc in.

I have been to the OI meetups the last 2 Decembers, and they are a lot of fun!

That response actually makes me feel better.
I had allocated funds to possibly attend the UO Holiday party (if dates aligned), but I have been having second thoughts based on some reviews from last year.

Perhaps, I'll put those funds toward one of the nights for the Orlando Informer Party.

Before I pull the trigger, are there any discount codes that I should be aware of? Mr. Marrow had a discount code on that Youtube channel, but he posted that video in Feb so I think it's expired now.

The only impact will be somewhat increased crowds after 5pm (when OI Meetup tickets can enter) and probably cutting off the Hagrids line a bit early (so you can't hop in line right before park close for that one ride).

The videos mentioned a Speakeasy and said something about needing to purchase within 24 hours of release.. I'm not sure how long these tickets have been on sale (I'm guessing since at least Feb), but are there any other ways to get into the Speakeasy?

The Speakeasy was a special addition to that specific Meetup. They sometimes add special offerings to the individual Meetup dates. There wasn't one announced for the winter (Nov/Dec) dates. The winter tickets went on sale June 6, 2023. Typically, you will get a cheaper price the earlier you buy.
