Sorry if this is OT but if I don't have a computer, then I can't access the Disboards!
I have a computer that has 128 MB, 465 MHZ and an Intel Celeron Processor. I am currently running Windows 2000 Pro. I am almost out of memory and I have taken off most files and backed them up to CD. I tried to buy and use one of those nifty new sticks that you plug into the USB port but it won't work. I only have approx. 280 MB left on my c: drive. I am having problems running programs now and couldn't even run maintenance the other day. There isn't much room to compress anything anyway.
My question is: Would it be cheaper to just purchase a new computer or should I just add more memory? I almost dread transferring everything and adding on all of the software and so on but I know I can do it. Also, if I get a new computer, is it likely that the same thing will happen to the new one? This one isn't that old.
TIA for any answers!!!
