Computer help.....connecting my digital camera

My computer crashed last week...put in a new hard drive etc........When I use to connect my digital camera I would just go into my computer and the pictures would be on "F" drive......it isn't there anymore.

I downloaded picture gear (the thing that came with my camera) and it won't connect.

Everything seems connected right and my camera display says "USB mode"

Could there be something wrong with my USB stuff???

Any suggestions????

Make sure you follow the USB installation exactly as your camera suggests in its manual. The order of installation is very important. Also, maybe look into getting a $20 card reader, so much easier than hooking the camera up to the pc. http://www.sandisk.com/consumer/im.asp

Thanks Dan....just got off the phone with my computer guy.....he walked me through all this stuff to install the USB thingy and everything. Got it up and working!!! Think I may be turning into a computer geek!!
