COMPUTER DILEMMA *Help*

Alright. So.
Here's the situation.

My computer recently....died. So, I need a new computer. My parents and I recently fell in LOVE with the iMac. My grandmother offered to pay for it, ON ONE CONDITION:

I do not recieve Christmas or birthday gifts until I finish high school.

No, I know this is an AWESOME deal, but I have a few questions for Mac users/ opinion questions for everyone.

1) Do you think its worth it? Why?
2) If I got the IMac, I would have to transfer THOUSANDS of picture onto the iMac via CD. Is THAT worth it?
3) (only applicable to mac and VMK users) Does VMK work on an iMac?
4) Just give me some opinions if your a Mac user.

I'm not sure I only use iTunes.

1) Do you think its worth it? Yes. Why? Because iMac's are freaking amazing.
2) If I got the IMac, I would have to transfer THOUSANDS of picture onto the iMac via CD. Is THAT worth it? umm.. idk I never did it before.. but what about making a photobucket account then putting then on there? That might be faster. But once again idk.
3) (only applicable to mac and VMK users) Does VMK work on an iMac? It worked on mine.. idk if it still does though.
4) Just give me some opinions if your a Mac user. Well I love how thin the computer is because I was able to fit it in a small place in our office. iLife is amazing & it comes with every iMac computer. :] It have GREAT pictures & coloring. And the use of recyclable glass and aluminum makes iMac friendlier to the environment, too.

oi, i have a deep hatred for macs lol... but thats just me... if you really like it, than go for it... but if you can get a PC, than do that instead lol

My iMac was so slow because I downloaded a ton on it (Animation Shop 3, like 100 fonts, colors, etc.) but they I paid to get it "cleaned out" (@ Best Buy) and it's really fast now..

I have a mac, and I never want to go back to PC.
I loveee my mac.

I've never had to transfer any files, because this was my first computer, so I'm not really sure.

Limewire and VMK works.
Some are slow because how much stuff you download. Just don't download random crap from the internet you won't use, it'll work just fine.

I say, if you want it really bad, go for it =)
If you want my oppinion though, I'd get the mac. It's worth it, IMO.

limewire is illegal....
