10-15 dollars an hour is a little much.
A $79 a night residence inn has free acess.
Not comparing hotels it just seems like another excessive charge by Disney.
Does Residence Inn provide computers for guest use, at no charge?
If not, you're comparing apples to oranges. Comparing internet access in guest rooms, with the guest's own computer, to the use of the hotel's computers in a business center.
There's no charge for internet access in guest rooms at
DVC resorts if you're a DVC member, but you must, of course, bring your own computer. For non-members, or members staying at a non-DVC resort, it's $9.95 per 24 hour period for access. Which is actually quite reasonable, compared to what other hotels charge. I've seen $16/day in NYC, and $20/day in SF.
It's the cheapie places that cater to business travelers (like Residence Inn) that have free internet, because they have to compete with the 10 dozen other cheap hotel brands that cater to business travelers.
