Is there computer access for guests staying at the resorts? We will be staying at ASMu, visiting MK, MGM, and also SW and Universal/IOA. We cannot afford a laptop computer, but would like to check our email during our 9-day stay and possibly check in with our relatives back home from time to time.

I think I have seen accessibility at Epcot, but we're not going there. Anyone know where email/internet service might be offered?

Isn't there a terminal at the AAA lounge in MK?

There used to be a little coffee bar at the Contemporary with Internet access. I don't know if it's still there. I think Epcot has a couple as well.

hhhmmmm....I would be interested in this too. Anyone know for sure?

I believe you can obtain access to the internet in Future World in Epcot and a couple of years ago you could get access at Disney Quest in the food/table area but I'm not sure if this is still there.

Does anyone know if there is internet access in the resorts rooms for laptops?

The only Internet access without a laptop is at the business centers of the hotels with convention facilities. There is a charge for this.

If you have a laptop you may plus it into the dataport on the phone in any WDW resort room, but you need to bring you own ISP. Most major ISP's have local dial up numbers (Keep in mind that Orlando can be a toll call).

There is no high speed access from the guest rooms, and probably won't be anytime in teh forseeable future.

You can also go to kinko's a short drive away and pay to access the Internet through them.

But that's all you can do at Epcots terminals. You can't check email or anything else.

Glo--Swan/Dolphin are convention hotels, I'm sure the business center has internet access (note sure of the cost). Some of the offsite hotels have high speed internet access. Check Caribe Royale and the Hilton (and Doubletree hotels)

I do know for sure that you can pay by the hour for Internet time at the business offices at the BWI, GF, CR, CSR, and YC. The business offices do have specific times they are open and closed. I want to think (but am not sure) that it's $14 per hour for Internet use.

When we were at Disney's Vero Beach resort 4 weeks ago. I used the PC in the Business Center and it was $10 per hour.So I think the Boardwalk would be around the same price.

We have used the business centers at the Contemporary, the Y&B and the GF, we paid $10 for 15 minutes of use. They had AOL set ups, so we checked our mail and accessed the WEB. We were able to do most of our work in 15 minutes or less. Again, it is $10 for fifteen minutes.
There are new terminals in the parks now especially Epcot but I have not seen them. I think the price is $1 per minute of internet use.
