My flash stick was removed from my desk when I had to leave quickly due to a family emergency. It contained my conformation number and ADR reservation information. I am concerned that the person who took my flash stick could possible cancel my reservations ( including ADR's). I contacted a Disney rep who told me that they could not set up a password for my account. The most that they could do put a note in the file to ask for my e-mail addres if someone called, but that most reservationists do not even read the notes when someone calls in!!!! ( and an e-mail address is a TERRIBLE thing to use anyway.)

What should I do now? Should I call and ask to talk to a manager? My trip is several months off and I am going to worry myself sick over this.

Thanks everyone:grouphug:

they definitely ask questions to make sure you are you.

phone number and birthdate I think.

why would someone cancel your reservations?

are you sure someone would do this to you?
The most I have been asked for is address and phone number
You will have to keep watching it

I think you're worrying without much underlying reason.

The odds of this happening.. are very low. And if they do cancel.. you'll notice a refund to your credit card or a check in the mail. I think you're fine.

The more likely scenario is someone reformatted that stick so they could use it themselves.

I think you're worrying way too much about this.

Think it through....someone grabbed your flash drive. Why? So they could use it themselves, most likely. It's probably already been overwritten.

Even if they were hopelessly nosy, and read through the files on the drive before they erased them, would they then really go through the trouble to:

- Look up the number for CRO.

- Call CRO and wait, on hold.

- Cancel your reservation.

- Look up the number for Disney dining.

- Call Dining and wait, on hold.

- Cancel all your ADRs.

Why would someone go to all that trouble?

Maybe they stole the flash stick so that they could get her ADRs. Some people would do anything to have dinner at Le Cellier.

I agree.

Those last three posts were very helpful. I have received some very good tips now and it looks like this will be resolved so I am editing this post to remove some information that is no longer necessary.

Looks like my trip, and my Le Cellier adr's are safe!!!!

If you're really, really worried about someone who hates you and might sabatoge your trip, why don't you call Disney back and have the reservations names changed to someone else who is in your party? Maybe that would help since the information isn't as readily available to the thief. You could also change the phone number that everything is linked to.

I'm sorry that this happened and that you're worried about it! (I would be nervous with all that info 'out there' too) If you will worry about it til your trip, I'd call Disney back and see what they can do to help... good luck!

I would hurry and rebook additional ADR's at least in case. But then again I'm a bit paranoid.:3dglasses
