Compound Miter Saw-Bosch or Mikita?

Dh needs a new one and this is one of the things I am going to get him for his Birthday.

Which one would you buy and why?

My Fiance is very pro-Mikita. He thinks theyre an amazing, quality brand.

I dont think Ive ever heard him mention "Bosch"

And, if I told my fiance a friend-of-mine was getting her hubby a Mikita (anything) - he's be jealous.

Go with the Mikita - all his friends will think youre a very-cool wife.

When we built our deck last summer, my husband rented a Bosch. When ended up needing one longer than we thought, so we bought one. I bought the Makita sliding compound miter saw. DH likes the Makita much better than the Bosch.
