Complimentary airfare companion tix from disney visa

Anyone else get this in the mail? Mine states 1 free companion with purchase of one roundtrip ticket to WDW or DL. Whats the catch??

We have 4 in our family does that mean if we purchase 2 RT we get 2 free?

Anyone know what the blackout dates are? TIA!!!

I believe there are limitations on the types of fares you can get. For example, it is probably not valid on the discount fares.

What I have been reading about this is that this cannot apply to discounted airfare and so, in some situations, it costs even more than just buying 4 nicely discounted tickets; if you can get them. Another example, I have entertainment coupons for United Airlines, but they are not valid for the discounted tickets and so the coupons really don't help at all. Seems like nothing is ever as good as it sounds.

I'm not sure about the exact offer you are refering to but I just got a new credid card and as a gift for getting the credit card I got a free companion airline certificate, for my offer (and I assume yours is similar) you must purchase one plane ticket and you get ONE free, just one free and you must pay the taxes and fees on the free one. Also you cannot just pick any airline and flight, first off depending what zone you are in and what zone your destination is depends on the min. you must spend on the one ticket. For example I am in zone 1 and to fly to Orlando which is zone 7 you must spend $280, and you must book thru their web site, and there are only some many seats on the plane reserved for the offer. If I wanted to use the certificate to fly to Las Vegas which is zone 4 I would have to spent $500!!! Plus taxes and fees on both tickets. In my opinion (assuming the offer you got in the mail is similar) it is not worth it and I will not be using mine, It was free so I dont really care. I would fly southwest if they fly out of your area, I've heard of folks getting round trip fares as low as $49 per person!

I already received my activated voucher and tried the website. The dates I want are not available. Easter week. I figured that would happen. Nothing in April is available. Id say limited seats
