If you book a vacation package through Walt Disney World Travel, you should receive souvenir luggage ID tags (with a picture of Tinker Bell or whatever picture Disney has on them these days).

If you book DME, you should get bright yellow luggage routing tag (for one-time use).

If you book both, you should get both.

Sure.

Again, I think the souvenir tags are only if you book a vacation package, not if you only book a room.

If you boook on AAA or Expedia, you get the same tags too.
Right, but still ONLY if it's a package. When you book through AAA or Expedia or any other travel agent, THEY still book the package through WDTC, and thus you get the luggage tags just like those who book directly through WDTC without a middle man.

I have no experience just booking room only discounts thru AAA or Expedia, but I do want to add that you do NOT have to book air thru either to get the luggage tags either :)

I like my 2004 Tink Tags and my 2005 Castle Tags, anyone know if they changed them for 2006????

I never said anything about booking air through Disney. WDTC considers a "package" to be room and park tickets.

We received our travel packet about two weeks ago and the tags are the same as the 2005 Castle tags.

I think I got mine around 45 days in advance, after I paid the balance due.
