Complicated dining plan question

We have 4 people in our room, all on the ddp. My dh may join us 5 days into our trip. CRO agent told me to just add him when/if he comes. Does that mean he gets the ddp for the second half of his stay? Does he HAVE to get the ddp? We are getting 2 connecting rooms, both on the same reservation.

I don't want to buy more days on a ticket than what he needs, and I don't want to pay the $25 extra per day when he is not there.

He will not get the dining plan if you add him once he arrives....also technically he won't be able to use any of your entitlements either.

You can just purchase his ticket when he arrives and pay OOP for his meals...or you can add him to your package, get the minimum number days of tickets he will need for everyone, upgrade everyone else's tickets when you arrive and you can then use his additional dining credits for some special, signature dining.

This sounds like a good plan! Except, will they charge me $25 extra for the room each night, even when he is not there, or is it +$25 after the first two people? Each room has one adult until he arrives then there will be two in one. This will be especially good if there is free dining offered!

They charge for extra adults over 2 in a room. So if there is only 1 adult in the room you can add another, no extra charge.

Thank you for the great recommendation! I will put him on the reservation, bring out tickets down to 2 days, then add more days when we get there.
