O.K. We were planning 9 nights at the CSR. Then we talked about splitting the stay between the CSR and / CBR or POFQ. I made the mistake of calling the customer service Reps at Disney who said to stay in ONE resort. Now I'm completely Befuddled! Do we stay in one resort or Split it up?

Any opinions please

That is really a personal preference. Some people like the opportunity to try a couple different resorts. Others (like me) prefer to unpack and settle in. We did it once and it was nice to be able to try another resort and even though Disney makes it pretty easy to do by moving your lugguage for you, I still thought it was too much work. Then again we are a family of six. Maybe when it is just DH and myself I will feel differently.

If you decide to do it, I would make sure POFQ is one of my choices!!

We love CSR and usually stay 7 or 8 nights per trip. Splitting stays is totally your decision. WDW can't tell you not to.

Do you have a desire to stay someplace else? I have on occasion split stays but usually for a reason. A few years ago I really wanted to try AK Last year we had friends at AK and than switched to BW when my Mom came to join us. My upcoming trip in Oct I am staying the full stay at YC , I did not have the desire to pack and unpack 5 people again. Either way you will have a great trip!!

Actually I would like to try the CBR as the second half of our stay.

This past January I couldn't decide between WL and AKL, so did a split stay and loved it. It was like having two vacations in one. In a week we went from the Pacific Northwest to an African savanna. In May, I did a solo trip and was a little concerned about doing a split stay. I stayed two nights at POP. rented DVC points for BWV for five nights, then added two more nights at POP. It was great and very easy! I wanted to do another split stay in a few weeks for our Sept trip, but my D-I-L didn't want to and besides with the free dining it was easier and cheaper to stay in one place. I'm already afraid I'm going to get bored after a few days. I'm taking my mom for her first ever trip in Dec and am doing another split stay at POFQ and CSR. Can't wait!

FYI: Just in case you didn't know WDW makes switching resorts very easy. Just call bell services the morning you're ready to leave. They'll come get your bags and transport them to your new resort. Go check into the new resort, get your room key, go to the park, and when you return that night call bell services for your bags. (At a value resort the bags will already be waiting in your room for you.)

I say split your trip. Disney really makes it easy for you when they transfer the luggage.

You will enjoy CBR.
