MAY 29th- The Hoop PART 1

As we were walking out of the park, the parade was going on and Kristen got some awesome pictures

It looks like Peter Pan is out on a test drive of Aladdin's magic carpet.

And Kristen's favorite, Mary Poppins!

I have yet to see this movie but I truly must before the Saving Mr. Banks movie comes out because it looks so good!

Next we got on a boat to get to Fort Wilderness

We made it! Time for some Hoop Dee Doo!

We were so thankful for kind Disney guests that took photos of us for us.

If anyone is new to Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue like I was, it's a family style restaurant with a theatre show! It's just so frumpy.

Before I go any further with this trip report, I'm afraid I have a confession to make. I hope none of you will treat me different after I say this. I've tried to hard to keep it a secret but I....

picky eater.

It's true. I'm the worst.

Do you see this beautiful fried chicken?

I DON'T EVEN LIKE FRIED CHICKEN. I know! I am ashamed.

These ribs however...

WERE AMAZING. They fell off the bone very easily which is what I love.

I think Alicia's face sums it up perfectly.

I didn't have the corn or the baked beans, but they smelled good and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I don't even know where to begin to explain how good the mashed potatoes were. UGH I JUST CANT EVEN I WANT MORE RIGHT NOW.

MAY 29TH- The Hoop Part 2

DESSERT TIME

Strawberry Shortcake is one of my all time favorite desserts so you could say, I WAS IN HEAVEN.

Look at this stud.

YES! I know what you all are thinking.. THAT IS JESS! Right before dessert one of the actors asked her to go on stage and can-can in the show! It was so fun!

This guy was also asked to go on stage. Can you say frumpy?

Altogether Hoop-Dee-Doo get 5/5 stars in my book!

The food looks scrummy. I'm saving Hoop Dee Doo for when my DD9 gets a little older. We are doing BBB and CRT in January before she hits the double digits

MAY 29TH- The Grand Tour of the Art of Animation Resort (Part 1)

Before we start this trip report, let's just sit back and appreciate young Mike Wazowski's deer face

A frump in training!


After Hoop-Dee-Doo, Kristen, Nat, and I took the bus back to the resort and Alicia, Vickie, and Jess took Jess's car.

When we got back to the resort, Kristen, Nat, and I got our mugs from the food area and walked around taking a bunch of pictures.

MAY 29TH- The Grand Tour of the Art of Animation Resort (Part 2)

This is one of my favorite pictures of the whole trip, TOO SOON, NAT!

Put your snorkels back on, we're diving back under the sea with The Little Mermaid!

After our photoshoot we went back to the room and met up with the rest of the group. We put on our bathing suits and headed on over to the Finding Nemo pool. It was so cool because if you go underwater you can hear music!

After a short while we decided we wanted to go in a hot tub.. but none of the pools there had a hot tub!

We decided, YOLO and took Jess's car over to the Boardwalk to use their pool.

Kristen had to sit in the trunk because there wasn't enough room

We went on the waterslide they had there and we could see some fireworks from the top. This night was one for the books! It was so much fun. We only ended up going in the hot tub for a few minutes before we went looking for a different one in the hotel. As we were looking we decided to just walk on the boardwalk. It was so beautiful!!!

Jess and I got some ice cream the the other girls went to the bakery. I know Kristen got roasted almonds but I'm not sure what everyone else got. Most of us left our cell phones in the hotel because we were only planning on going swimming and they were dead anyway so I apologize for the lack of pictures from this night.

It was so memorable though, even without the pictures. It's a night I will never forget.​

Hoop De Doo looked great! Even if you're a picky eater, at least you like ribs.

You've never seen Mary Poppins?! Wow. I'm shocked. You should definitely see it before you see Saving Mr. Banks. From what I watched in the trailer, a lot of the jokes and references will be hard to understand if you haven't seen it. Great pictures of Celebrate A Dream Come True! Gonna miss that parade. :'(

Hoop-Dee-Doo looked like a blast! It took me a second to comprehend the fact that Jess wasn't a regular cast member in the show. She looked like she had been born on that stage. And don't feel bad about being a picky eater, I am too though it's not that I won't eat a lot of certain foods, I just want certain foods done right. So at Disney... not really a picky eater lol

Oh, the Art of Animation resort And you guys had such a great photo shoot with it! "Dang Near Fainted" lol And Nat's picture with Scar... yeah too soon, but still was a great idea.

So funny how you guys ended up putting Kristen in the trunk. Poor girl. Good choice on the ice cream that night!

There'll be more pictures of the details of the Tangled bathrooms later in the report. With 6 girls we had to take so many bathroom stops everywhere I actually don't think she did show me that.. is it in the interactive queue? Because we didn't go through there.

No, it's at the exit I believe, outside the attraction if I recall. It's pretty cool if you find it. You seem to enjoy those little extra details around Disney so I'm sure you could appreciate it.
