Complete change of plans - now staying onsite

This week we decided to cancel our offsite plans and stay onsite. Now that we are factoring in Disney transportation, the DDP, and EMH, my plans have almost completely changed. I spent all day on DME (off and on, especially since the website wasn't working very well today) trying to rearrange dining plans and booking/rebooking FP.

I'm having the most trouble with my BOG dinner reservation, which I refuse to cancel unless I can book another one! Now that we can take advantage of the evening EMH at MK, I would love to have our BOG dinner that day, but of course those reservations are so difficult to come by! I'm leaving it on the night we have it for now, because I'd rather go back to MK just for dinner than not go to BOG at all. It's our favorite Disney restaurant, so I know we'll be more than happy being there, I just wish I could switch the day!

The challenge that is surprising me the most is trying to find a Crystal Palace breakfast reservation. I haven't been there in years, but I never expected it to be that difficult to get! Is this normal? We will be in Disney the week of the Princess Half Marathon. Are there any chances that we could snag a reservation there the day before we want to go?

I'm mostly venting, even though the planning is half the fun of the trip! I'm sure I'll be stalking reservations up until we arrive! :rotfl2:

I think the princess Half also coincides with the winter break of a lot of northern schools...where the mission is GET THE HECK OUT OF ARENDELLE (unless you ski, then you like arendelle)

Try the Touring Plans ADR finder - we've had good luck with it

CP breakfast is a difficult one. But keep checking people change plans .
Have you signed up for Touring Plans ADR finder ( www.touringplans.com)? I believe they allow you to sign up for two ADR searches without buying their subscription.
. I was able to get a better ADR time for CP then the one I had made.I've read other posters with sucess.

Lol yes, that is a big part of it! This is my first runDisney event and I figured it’d be crowded. The difference is, when I plan for offsite stays I usually avoid the emh parks, but now that we’re going to be onsite I want to take advantage of those extra hours at MK! I’m paying for that with these reservation difficulties now though! :badpc:

Thank you, I did sign up and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for both to open up!

Okay, I feel better knowing it’s a difficult one. I didn’t realize that! Thank you, I did sign up and I’m hoping for the best! Hopefully people will find better reservation times like you and will change plans relatively soon so I don’t make myself crazy over these next few weeks lol. I’d love to have these last 2 adrs made before we leave! :worship:

Def check out the TP ADR finder feature. It's free but the 1yr subscription is very reasonable and has some useful and fun features. Congrats on your on-site stay:earsboy:
