Alrighty, here are two of my groups so far. I scanned them, so the colors are actually darker in person:

Group B - Pangani Forest Exploration Trail:

I made a photo mat and two paper piecings. I decided to focus on the Okapi for this group, because they are just too cute! There is actually an extra okapi embellishment in there - I made extra pieces in case I screwed up, but all survived! So if you would like the extra, do claim it! The sign is based off the one found near the exhibit:

Group E - Maharajah Jungle Trek

Again, a photomat and two paper piecings. The tiger is based off of one of the wall paintings in the exhibit. The sign is also inspired by a real one. The arrow is attached with a brad, so you can change the direction it is pointing:

Are you kiddin' me? Those are incredible! It looks like you took the chalk drawing of the tiger and made him out of paper...he is exactly the same! How did you do that? My mouth is still open! Seriously...you have a gift!

Aww, thanks! To make the tiger, I followed the picture and drew/cut it out on some orange paper, this was my template. Then you trace, trace, trace as many times as needed (on both the light and dark orange)! He is actually a lot of fun to make! Do you want one?

Can do! And I do love me some photo mats! But you aren't required to make me anything! I will make them later on tomorrow. I have an eye doctor appointment in the morning, so I probably won't be seeing straight then! Don't want a Picasso tiger, now do we!

Really those are great! And I wasn't going to do the element groups for this swap originally since I haven't used any from the last one. But then I caved & picked 2 element groups besides the letters. So glad I did now!


I'm happy to report that I've cut all letters, plus some embellishments for them. Speeding right along now!
