COMPLETE ABC Letter/Elements Swap

My DH wants to know why we are providing all the snacks and desserts for the book fair lunches. I am sure he would like you to give me lessons.

I feel your book fair pain, the last 4 years I helped run it twice a year with the librarian, food, prep, set up/clean up, sales...I basically lived at school for 10 days....this year, worked 2 days only 3 hrs and 2 hrs....I learned my lesson, it can be done!!!

Yup. In charge of finding volunteers, set up, find food, working with the kiddos to find books the first few days to write down, find books to buy today, prep the lunch tables for book fair special lunches [parents/grandparents eat lunch then shop the book fair], try to figure out the brand new electronic scanner cash register [it doesn't like my cold fingers on the screen ], and I get to do this two more days before I help break it all down. I did say "NO" to family night tomorrow. I don't do big crowds.

I so enjoyed just being a "worker bee" no responsibility, just showed up and worked!

Here is my Y for Group A -- boy, yellow shouldn't be photographed on golden oak. (sorry) Or red -- the paper is Mickey red, not orange red.

The Y, stars, and yellow strip on photo mat are all embossed with stars.

My other letter will be done after I work on the Other Swaps swap.

Group 1: letters C and V - -for grp V I used different patterned papers

Aren't these paper flowers cool? Hopemax posted a thread about them in the scrapbooking forum. I love them!

I am finished with letter C. For V, I have to finish the flowers. THey are cut and scored. Just need the glue. For group 2, I have the letters, mats and boxes cut and assembled. I just need to add the embellishments. I am thinking about altered paper clips for the element.

I will finish my next group this week.. I got the paper on sale today!! J's has 5/95cents! I hit the store right when they opened and had that aisle to myself... PJ and I knew what we wanted and were in & out in 20 minutes.... w/ the needs and some extras!!!
