Someone is trying to sell a 5 day PH on Ebay that has their name on it with one day used. I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I am trying to figure out advising a family member to buy it if it's going to work or not. I asked and it was a complimentary ticket, no finger print was taken, it has his name on it, and I can see on the back it says not transferable. I also asked if it had an expiration like most Disney tickets with a 14 day after first use expiration since one day was used. They don't know.

Anyone have any experience? It also says valid until 12/23/2009, but am unsure since one day was used.

I found some info after some digging. Basically the ticket can not be transferred and the person using the ticket maybe asked for id at the gate. Of course, if you buy it, the name won't match. They do not expire in 14 days like a normal ticket, but clearly states that the following. I let him know, but have a feeling someone is going to be out some money.

Tickets must be used by the same person on any and all days. "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" complimentary tickets may be used only by the service members to whom they are issued. "Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion" tickets may be used only by the friends and family members for whom they are purchased.

Tickets are non transferrable. I would not waste your money on this one. I know of several people who have bought tickets on EBAY only to get to Disney and find out they were bogus tickets.

Ya, I made sure to also tell him that he may want to let his bidders know. I would never buy a special ticket without doing some research at least. I can't say that for the other's that have already bid...Also, Mousavers.com has the following on their site.

Disney has the right to check ID at the gate. Military personnel may bring in non-military guests with the military discount as long as they accompany the non-military person(s) and at least 50% of the group are qualified for the military discount (i.e., active duty, retired, DOD and dependents). If military personnel purchase tickets and give them as gifts to non-military users that they will not be accompanying, they risk having the recipient denied entry and the tickets confiscated.
