I just returned from a 8 day stay at the Caribbean Beach. I would like to write a complaint letter but have no idea where to send it.. Does anyone know who I could call or who I should write to? I was told on day 1 that I couldn't use my dining plan for breakfast and then on the last day I found out I was given wrong information. 5 days into our trip families members found lice in their hair and some of our dining experiences were just horrible.. My husband was told he could not order a side of pasta at the Tutto Italia in Epcot. I've been to Disney a thousand times and this has been one of our worst trips.. For the amount of money we are paying I would expect better service than we received. It seems like Disney is out for themselves and not family members anymore.

Oh My!:sad2: I'm so very sorry you had a sad time!
And lice??? Oh my! Where do you think you all got them at??
Did you have to stand in alot of lines?

I am so sorry you didn't have a wonderful trip. What a disappointment for you and your family.
I don't know where you would send it, but I wonder if you could call the resort directly and ask for an address. Maybe send it to a corporate address as well.

One piece of information I wanted to offer is not to hold them responsible for the head lice. We have had quite a few outbreaks where I live and I have dealt with this with my kids twice now. My experience is that it takes a few weeks from the time someone is exposed before you are through an egg hatching cycle and you have enough bugs and they are big enough to be noticeable. (Sorry, this is gross, I know. It still gives me chills to think of it.) This is particularly true if more than one of your family had it - that means you have had it long enough for it to be passed from the original person exposed to the others. This couldn't have happened in five days time.

Good luck with getting rid of them, make sure you treat the whole family and your home too. I found the best thing to get rid of them was Denorex or T-Gel shampoo with 1% coal tar (extra strength). This worked better than the pesticide treatments they sell over the counter, which we tried repeatedly, but they never got rid of it completely. Shampoo with this and comb through with the metal nit combs at least once/day. Keep at it for a couple of weeks until you are sure they are completely gone. Make sure you wash all bedding and shampoo carpets and upholstered furniture, or at least vacuum thoroughly. Seal up all stuffed animals in plastic garbage bags an dleave for a few weeks. Having been through this myself, I really feel for anyone that has to deal with this. In the future, whenever you know there is an outbreak in your area, start treatment ahead of time with the shampoo. Every time I get that dreaded letter home from school now, I break out the T-Gel. So far, we have been able to avoid it for the last few years.
