Compating $$ - Onsite vs Offsite Budgeting Questions!

We do leave for a rest when we stay offsite. We sometimes go back to the room and sometimes we head to a resort just to have a quiet meal and maybe I'll sit in the lobby and people watch while DS checks out the arcade or whatever. We normally do go back to the parks so we get about as much done onsite or offsite. Touring style and the ages of the people in your party make a lot of difference.

Don't forget your $14 per day for parking if you are driving and not taking a shuttle of some sort from an offsite hotel. For us on a short trip staying in a value is a no brainer just for the parking and convenience. We could get an offsite hotel for $60, sure, but by the time you add $14 per day for parking it is really going to cost $74 per night and we can get a value room for that price many times of the year. At that point we'd rather just stay on property.
