comparing BCV and BWV

free laundry for only Owners or people staying on rented points too??

I've always preferred the BWV and so have the kids. SAB does not hold the appeal for them as they are teens, and SAB is beseiged by little ones, and that part of my life is over for now! I've stayed at BCV twice and though I would not turn it down if nothing else were available I've not cared for the locations we've had. The 1st time I had the view of the edges and the road, talk about blah! , and the second time, a close view of all of the other balconies facing the pool, no privacy whatsoever.

My son loves going to the BW bakery for croissant in the morning. We don't ever do food courts or buffets. I guess that why DVC built so many different resorts, to each his own! I leave BCV to those who really enjoy it!

Hm, the last time I used the laundry at BWV it was free to all....I don't recall having to put my DVC member card in a slot or anything. Daughter used the BWV laundry last year and it was free. We used the laundry at BLT two years ago, also free. But things change so you never know. Since DH and I usually have a one-bedroom for the majority of our stays, we have the in-room washer/dryer.

deedisneydream97, thanks for the laundry info! We have booked.....and we decided on AKV. we will be in a standard studio in Jambo house...so off to ask about laundry at AKV anyone that has stayed there know?

We own at BWV and have stayed at BCV. I love SAB... But during our stay the atmosphere seemed almost chaotic with young children. If my children were young that is were we would be staying, but we now prefer the Boardwalk and the more adult atmosphere up and down the Boardwalk. Both are beautiful and short walks to Epcot, which I really consider the main reason we bought at either of these resorts. Being able to walk to Epcot and walk back for lunch, take nap maybe, walk back for late afternoon, come back for dinner, etc. is like bliss for us. It really is no effort at all to walk to the Park (and back) three times a day. These two resorts are unique in this sense.
