and tell me if it's worth trying to get it. 7 nights Sept28-Oct.5, 2 adults with dining but tix. not added yet. $1977. If I get free dining I will lose the room discount. TIA

Looks like rack rate plus dining plan to me. Be aware that often POFQ is not included in any deals that do come out. POR usually is, but not POFQ

I think it's less then rack. Rack plus dining would be more like 2800.

Not according to website. 7 nights garden view rack rate, no tickets, no dining plan $1688.66

Which dining plan did you add? That also makes a difference. And what room category? If the rate you have is for dining plan....then that's good.

Well, that does seem like a great rate then with the dining. Where did you find such a deal? I didn't think Fall discounts were out....

I don't really understand your question, but breaking it down. Dining is about $62 / adult / day so just dining for 7 nights is $868. Take that from your total rate (room + dining) and you have $1109 which is broken down to $158/night. Which honestly isn't that great IMO. But lets assume that's a 25% discount (standard for Mods) Normal Room rate is $210 multiply that by 7 and you get $1470 so if you get FREE dining, your total for room plus free dining would be $1470 making that the better deal (assuming I understood and did the math right).

Some disney specialized travel agents have discounts. But if you look at rsaugusti's post you will see that free dining is still an even better deal, by far.

Also I didn't think you could even purchase a dining plan without buying at least a 2 day ticket unless you were an AP holder. So how can a TA give you a price not including tickets, but including dining?

Can book a ticketless package now that includes dining that you pay for. The 2 day ticket mandate is for the FD promo.

Actually, mods rarely get a full 25% off anymore. You guys are also not counting in the fact that weekends have higher rates than weekdays. This guy is getting a great deal.
