We were pretty much sold on either POR or POFQ for our November 2016 trip. However, it looks like it is likely neither of these will be included in FD (although I know it is impossible for anyone to know, just basing my guess on historical data.) In most of the books/sites I have looked at, the PO resorts are rated considerably higher by most than the other moderates.t If there is at least a decent percent off room rate at PO, we will probably stick with it, but just wondering how many of you would switch to CBR for a better rate or FD? (We have a 6 and 9 yr old in case that influences your opinion) Thanks!

All of the moderates seem to have their own fan clubs, and some are more vocal than others.

To be honest, for a 6 and 9 year old, the CBR and CSR pool are quite a bit more exciting, should the weather be okay for swimming. I'm not a huge fan of the fake-South themes of the PO resorts, personally, although I do like the boat to Disney Springs. The rooms are going to be pretty similar for Standard rooms across all 4 resorts. They're all big with multiple bus stops (yes, yes, POFQ has one, but mostly shares with POR so...).

We were big fans of POR until having to switch to CBR for Free Dining years ago. We haven't been able to stay anywhere else since! POR and POFQ are both lovely, but we just fell in love with CBR.

We switched from POR to CBR last year because we couldn't get the discount at the other mods and we absolutely LOVED it. Now we hope to book CBR for our next family trip as well. So yes, I would and did switch for a better rate.

I have yet to stay at POR but did stay at POFQ a few years ago. I prefer CBR to POFQ.

I wouldn't stay at CBR again unless I could afford a preferred room. And now that that runs around another $60 a night on top of the basic rate, that isn't likely. I had an ok stay at CBR but have loved my stays at POR. CBR is just too darned large. POR is big too, but CBR is much more spread out.

I didn't care for the food court at CBR either, so free dining might not even sway me to staying there.
