Comp stay questions

I won't go into the particulars. Let's just says my last stay was horrible and I was given a comp stay.
I must call CR# for any questions or room changes.
Finding out that the NBA is at my resort I call the number I'm supposed to.
I asked to change(modify)my resort and keep the same dates and the guy tells me I can't until the resorts open again.
I asked if people were online making reservations in September 2020??, he said yes. I asked again why I wasn't allowed to change mine, again he said I had to wait until the resort opened.
So should I call back and ask to speak with a Supervisor???

The thing is that you were given a comp stay and it may be treated differently In that it is resort specific. It is also possible someone with a higher level of ability needs to help you change resorts.

Call and ask to speak with someone else who can give you more info.

ETA. No 2020 reservations are availBe for new bookings...only 2021...that was not correct info

Not sure what your talking about in this part(see quote above)
According to the person I spoke with , he said i can modify the reservation when the resorts open.
The only Resorts I'm restricted from are: GFV and Poly.

I thought you were talking about people being able to book new reservations for 2020 online. I misunderstood.

Yes, those who have current dates are being moved from closed to open.

But, your room is a comp room and therefore, may need to be treated differently. That is why you need to contact someone in Guest Services...so tell the CM that when you call.

I was able to get in touch with a Supervisor and asked if I could have my resort stay modified. She said no problem and changed it.
Then I called MS and was able to link my stay!!!

I was able to modify my reservation to OKW .
OKW is 1 of our home resorts. So yes we're very happy.
