Has anybody ever particiated in this. It is where you purchase a share in a farm, usually a small organic farm. You are in a sense pre-buying a seasons worth of produce. Then the farm divides a percentage of the crops every week among the shareholders. It is done so that the farmers get a guaranteed source of income during the off season, and during good seasons it is supposed to be a good bargain for the share holder. I am thinking of doing this.
