This is one of my dd's favorite things to take part in. When we stayed at BWV in Nov she would want to do the stuff at the Community Hall rather than go to a park each morning. So, here's the scenario.....we own at BWV but will be staying at BCV in June. Can kids still use CH even if they aren't actively staying at BWV? I don't want to do something that isn't allowed and will tell her she'll just have to wait for the next visit if such is the case. Thanks.

Yes, I do not see why not. They are not that very crowded and would enjoy the company. Have Fun - my girls love CH at BWV.

My DS loves Community Hall. He's has visited when we were staying at BCV and has always been welcome there.

The Community HAll & activities are technically just for the guests of the BWI & BWV. However, if it isn't busy (and it hasn't ever been when we've visited), the CMs welcome others. If you are at all concerned, just ask the CMs at Community Hall. I'm sure your DD will be welcome.

Best wishes -

I think not to long ago the CM at BC were sending the DVC members and guest to the community hall at BWV -since BCV doesn't have one.

I don't want to hijak the thread but what sort of activities do they have at the CH? We are planning our first trip to BWV and I have never heard about the CH. TIA!! :flower:

In November my dd made a decorated a tee shirt, made memory books, decorated canvas totebags. There is a list each day outside CH that tells what activities are offered that day and the cost.

There are also video/dvd rentals there, air hockey table, ping pong, computers for game type things. A popcorn machine where you can buy popcorn by the box. CH is right at the quiet pool, beside the canal walkway to MGM.

Thanks for the answers guys. Dd will be thrilled.

Thanks goofy4tink. We'll check it out when we're there!

FYI My nephews...ages 9 & 12 loved it there in April. They didn't want to leave and still talk about it to this day. They actually cried leaving there and we had a hard time getting them to sit down and eat. We had a great location, bottom floor right next to CH so it was convenient for them to run over. I even let my DD6 go w/ them it was so close. Who would've thought that one of the few things that are free in the World would be a highlight for the kids.
