Community Hall at BLT

Is there a community hall at BLT?

Yes, it's on the first floor. I've not been inside so I can't answer any other questions on it.

It's a nice room. There were a few kid computer games on the comupters, a tv and a couple of tables set up with craft and coloring activities. They have games to borrow along with DVD's and shuffle board equipment and boccie ball. There were 2-3 CM's working at a time.

Our DGS 6, loved to play the computer games, and the 2 DGD, 5 and 7 really enjoyed coloring, making buttons and playing games. We borrowed games to take to the room. We enjoyed playing Wii...the Toy Story Mania game one evening. It was very cold when we went, so we spent more time there than we would have planned, but it was fun.

Our three boys loved the community hall. My DS10 won a Guitar Hero contest which he was excited about. One day we did ceramics (there was a fee for that), DH and boys played shuffle board several times. They had crafts, coloring, etc. There were DVDs to "rent" - I think they're free for DVC members. The staff from the CH also run games out by the pool most afternoons. Make sure you pick up a schedule of events.

How far from pool area is it?

It is in the "U," facing the pool area, bamboo, shuffleboard, etc.

How far from pool area is it?

Less than a 1 minute walk. There is a door from the community hall that opens to the courtyard. I saw a CM use it so I would assume your KTTW would open it. Otherwise if you have to go back into the BLT hallway and out another door so it might take another 15 seconds. We had to use our KTTW to enter the pool area.
