Community Hall AKV Jambo ?

Hi,
We have never stayed at AKV but have a GV for a week in January in Jambo house. We usually enjoy playing bingo by the pool, ceramics in the community hall, and a few other things the community hall has to offer.

Will these things be available at Jambo house or will we have to go to KV?

Per the WDW website:

Community Hall

Community Hall is located adjacent to the lobby at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village and includes a ping-pong table, foosball table, videogames, television, and ongoing activities such as arts and crafts.

I recently saw a post on another forum that someone mentioned that crafts were no longer available at Jambo House. But that could have only been a seasonal change.

Both resorts have pool games.

There should be some type of activities offered at both resorts, just check when you get there.

There is no community hall at Jambo but they have daytime kids events both in or near lobby and at pool and also evening events viewing animals (like using goggles that see in the night). There is a video game room. Don't recall seeing ping pong or foosball but you will have a pool table in your room.

Note that in January, daytime events at pool will disappear because it is usually too cool to use the pool for many. Moreover, if January is like the one in 2010, the pool will close (15 straight days of lows in the 20s and highs in 40s to lower 50s; there were even snow flurries a couple mornings)

When I was at Jambo in October, they'd moved all the activities that I'd previously enjoyed in Simba's cubhouse (ceramics painting and jewelry making) over to the Kidani community room. I don't remember about Goofy Bingo.
