Community convenient to I-Drive and Disney

[getting there]

My husband is working at a convention at the Orange County Convention Center on International Drive half the time while the rest of us visit Disney. I know the traffic in Orlando can be horrible. Any recommendations on what area/neighborhood would be best for both? We're hoping to stay in a pool home. Thank you!
