Wondering if anyone knows of a picture communication board by disney - we are going to disney world in october and would like to make a communication board for my autistic daughter. thanks

I don't know of one, but I always meant to make one with pictures from the internet and from old park maps. You can copy pictures from various web sites; here's a link to the DIS image bank. You can probably find some pictures on the official Disney site and also a lot of DIS members have their own web sites where you might find some pictures.
If you want some general vacation type communication boards, PM me and I'll look for my DD's old boards and scan them so I can email you a copy.

We didn't use a communication board, but we did make very extensive use of park and resort maps, which have lots of icons and pictures.

Hi just wanted to welcome you to the board, you'll get alot of information about taking your autistic daughter to disney. There are alot of us out here. I don't know if this will help but see if you can get some of the past Disney magazine issues, there may be some helpful pictures in their too. Also Deb's Unofficial web page WWW.WDWIG.COM will have pictures of all the hotels even inside the rooms. Definately check in often on this board. I've never met a nicer bunch of folks than the ones of these boards.
