Communication Question

I am renting a home in EI for Easter Week. I sent an email to the owner with some questions since final payment is due soon. I didn't hear back from him, so a fwe days later I emailed him again.

The owner lives in England and I realize that he could be away, but I am getting a little nervous (which is easy since this is my first villa rental and I was nervous from the start renting from a stranger that lives overseas). But this is still a busniness transaction and he should have an automated reply email that says he is away and he shouls check his emails if he intend on being gone.

My question is (for owners and thsoe that have rented before)...does the villa owner answer your emails promptly?

All homes are individually owned. So all are run differently. When we go to florida I inform all of our guests. SOme times stuff happens in life and we have no control over it. I would give it a little time for them to get back to you. I would not send out the final payment until I felt comfortable with everything. Hope all goes well for you and your family. I am sure you will.

Weather here has not been good over the last few days or so and some parts of the country have been badly hit by storms , homes lost power and some are not back on yet .Your owner may be in one of these areas .However if they aren't then they may be away or have a job that takes them away from home. What ever their situation way they should try to let you know but sometimes things come alomg that we don't plan .Wait a couple of days and contact them again .

Well I think 10 people lost their lives in the height of the storms mainly by trees coming down on cars and walls collapsing but it did leave a trail of destruction behind .I am sure your guys are ok and that there is a simple reason for their lack of communication that will soon be resolved.

I just checked my paperwork and the owner lives in Hertfordshire, England. I am not sure how bad that area was hit.
