I'm just curious if the DL on-site hotels are usually mostly full regardless of the season or is something special suddenly going on the first week of March?
I have my trip planned but only got it booked 2 weeks ago and it seemed there was plenty of room everywhere (based on 1 phone call with a travel person and various on-line research).
Now I was working with a friend to possibly book a trip the same timeframe and suddenly all 3 DL hotels and 2 of the close off-site hotels are saying "no rooms available" for the same dates.
She just has a party of 4 so this surprised me and kind of has me worried now that it will be busier than I expected since it was before spring break kicked into high gear.
or is this normal as it gets closer to any given timeframe?
thanks

Disney has a set amount of rooms available to "sell" and reservations hold these rooms. As trips are canceled, so will the reservations be as the time gets closer. That's why I usually call every day until the room and hotel I want opens up. I use this same tactic with stays in WDW as well.
