completing the Goofy plus 5K or the Funny Farm
At 2:00AM this morning while most people in training for the upcoming events of the 2011 Marathon Weekend were sleeping, I was out training on local roads and also taking in a wonderful view of only the 2nd Winter Solstice Total Lunar Eclispe to occur since the year AD 1.
There is something special, at least IMO, in getting out on the roads early in the AM when noises are minimal and the air is crisp but to add today's combined events made my first training session of the day absolutely unique.
2 weeks, 3 days then the FUN really begins.
