Comments on Universal Studios near Barcelona, Spain?

We will be staying at Barcelona for a few days next month, after completing the 11 day Disney Mediterranean cruise.

We were wondering about going to the Universal Studios near Barcelona. Does anyone have any comments about that theme park, and how it compares with the Universal Studios theme parks in Orlando and in Hollywood?

My son says it is more like Busch Gardens.

Hi its a great park it was designed similar to BG but no animals, gthe new owners have leased the name from universal, Dragon Khan is a great coaster you wont be disappointed in this park although its geared more to the European market,

We've been to Port Aventura twice now and will go back again next year probably!
Although it used to belong to Universal it no longer does. And it really bears little resemblance to either of the Universal parks in Florida (or anywhere else!)
Having said that we still love the place! It has it's own character, is spotlessly clean, has some great rides and shows (El tempo de fuerga (sp?) is Poseidons Fury by the way) and some nice eateries.
We have stayed on site twice at their excellent hotels and had "Universal Express" to every ride all day!
I would recommend it to anyone. It's not Florida but it fills the gap until the next trip to Orlando!
