Comments needed on yourmusic.com

Just wondering what kind of experiences any of you have had with this outfit. I don't quite understand when they say you can't resell their cds you buy from them. Are they in special packaging? Are they easy to cancel subscriptions with?
Let me know anything you know.

My brother belongs. You have to make sure that you always have at least 1 CD in you queue because they charge you the $6.99 on the day of the month that you registered whether a CD is shipped or not - and once that date has passed, they will not ship you another CD for that month.

This is their comment on the resale (right from their terms & conditions page): "7.CDs Are For Personal Use Only: All selections purchased through yourmusic.com subscriptions are intended for personal use only and not for resale or any other commercial purpose. If we determine product is being used other than for personal use, we will cancel your subscription. "

You are also limited to a maximum of 2 copies of one CD.

You can cancel at any time - it's not like the Columbia House or BMG (even though it IS BMG) where you are required to buy so many CDs before you can quit.

I joined, very limited on new pop music. I found it very hard to find anything that was fairly recent. I was very disappointed in their selection, I was looking for newer releases.

I buy 60's and 70's music and I have about 10 CD's in my queue right now.

I even got a 2-CD set for $6.99. THAT was a deal. I've been very happy with it. I've been a member for several months.

Look around the site and see if they have CD's you would be interested in and go from there. There is no minimum so you can cancel anytime.

I received $12 from the rewards site so my first 2 CD's were almost free.
