Like this. They are very noisy when they fly.

Thanks, I don't think those were it either. not sure what she had, but there were alot. She cleared that room completely out now and got rid of everything in it.

 I have never heard of 'real' stink bugs before.. I only knew this one from It's Tough to Be a Bug in AK!!

Hope the problem is over soon for you!

Stinkbug update: I think DH's MacGyver fix is working! There were only 2 in the bedroom this morning and they were probably hiding somewhere else yesterday. Whew! :thumbsup2

Three-legged kitty update: She's doing great! :thumbsup2 Apparently all the vets and the techs were amazed by her recovery yesterday. She was up and eating and walking around within 30 minutes after surgery. DSS was able to bring her home from the clinic last night. She's on some pain meds and antibiotics but has a VORACIOUS appetite. We have to feed her baby food. She doesn't like being isolated. And after I put her in her box last night (it's about 2 feet deep) she JUMPED out!

DH said, "Why do you want a three-legged cat?" Ummm...hello. It's not that I WANTED a three-legged cat! I didn't go googling "three-legged cats" until I found one!

I'll try and post a photo of her later. She's so tiny--she fits in my hand!

Glad kitty is doing well. We have a new kitty here. It jsut showed up (or was dropped off). This guy is very friendly....so friendly that he keeps coming into the house! :scared1: And he rubs all over you while you are trying to walk. I m not a cat lover, so it really irritates me, but Claire LOVES him.

Here is a photo of my sweet kitten. Her rear leg closest to DD is the one that had to be amputated. She's getting around great...very feisty! paw::cat:We are trying to come up with a good name for her. (Any Disney related ideas??? ) This photo was taken about 2 days post surgery. You can see her stitches and a little spot where the clippers slipped.

Oh! I like that! :)

I have a big fluffy orange cat, his name is Sully and when we got our girl kitten I wanted to name her Boo but my husband didn't like it. So we went with Ruby after Rubeus Hagrid in Harry Potter. So now I have Sully & Ruby. :goodvibes

Those are all great names! I love them!!! I wish I could have that many kitties, my husband would move out though. :lmao:

She's so cute. You could name her Peg-leg Penny (like peg leg pete)

When we got married, DH had a cat in the house (Punkin) and I had a cat that he had given me as a kitten while we were dating (Nube--pronounced new-bay) but after they were gone, he didn't want any more cats. He is actually a little afraid of them. Sure...a 1500 lb cow is no problem, but a cute little kitten scares him to death! When we have to give them shots he always makes ME hold them! But he tolerates them now. I won him over with Mocha.

And remember that we live on a big farm....so there's lots of places for kitties. I would never have that many inside my house! I'm actually not that thrilled about keeping the new one inside. Mocha is very well-behaved and well-trained. I got very lucky with her!

Haha! Cute.

I have a cat that has 3 legs, the right front is missing and she gets around great. She even brought me home a blue jay tonight!!!

Her name is Missy but I have another cat named Bagheera after the panther in Jungle Book

I LOVE "Bagheera"! GREAT Disney cat name! :thumbsup2 We had an orange cat named Rahjah and a black one named Jasmine. They were a "couple." And after Jasmine was hit by a car, I swear that Rahjah mourned for her. I would find him crying in the driveway and then a few days later HE was hit by a car a few feet from where she was. Our driveway is about 1/4 mile long so the kitties spend most of their time around the house and the woods. It was very unusual for either of them to be up by the road.
