We get in those parks and run like heck trying to get in as many rides and shows as possible! :Pinkbounc We will never save rides for the next trip. We do them all every trip! Don't let there be new attractions! You'd better believe we're going to get those puppies in no matter how busy it is :crowded:

When we leave we are tired and our feet hurt, our muscles ache, but the next time we go back you'll see us early in the morning flying through the parks fastpassing giving our youngest a thrill ride in her stroller because we are commandos and proud of it! :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Sounds like our crazy family. We drag kids, grandparents or whoevers with us everywhere. We wont listen to any complaining- just get it in gear and go!! When we hit the beds at night we are aching and tired, but ready to go again the next morning!! :thumbsup2

We are the same way!! Although this year, we will have 3 kids, but I'm sure I will be sending my DH running to get the fastpasses!! I love the commando style! Hopefully my mother in law won't slow us down if she decides to come this time. :sad2: (but that's another story)

We are also commando and proud of it!! You can see us race-walking thru the parks, this time with 13 people in tow- no complaning allowed!! We ALWAYS have a FP for every minute we are in the parks!! We eat alot of character meals, and use this as our rest time, otherwise we are off to the races!!

First let me say, I saw the title of this and thought of the Friends episode and was wondering what the discussion was going to be about.

I used to be this way. Must see everything. Numerous times, before FP even existed we spent all day at each park and did every ride. I can still remember how bad my feet felt after doing MK for 13 hours one day and then EPCOT the next day for another 12 hours. But we got it all in.

Anyway, since we had DD, DW has been very insistant on me calming down and just relaxing. She helped by saying we will come back, and usually starts helping me plan the next trip while on that vacation if there is not one already planned.
But I understand the mindset and when my DD gets older, that will probably be our motto, only hope DW can keep up.

Something told me we weren't the only ones who didn't tour the parks at a leisurely pace enjoying the little things and taking in a few choice attractions. :teeth:

The first thing that popped up in my head when I read the title of this thread was "Nigel, put some pants on.This is a bloody family place!".

UH-OH! :rotfl2: I forget there is a world outside of the Dis where commando means something entirely different! :lmao: However, I can assure you that we never go commando while we are touring the parks commando style. ;)

The visual... :rotfl2:

We are completely commando too!

There is no sleeping in, there are no naps. We open and close the parks. If you are tired, you suck it up. You can relax at meals though (I'm not completely heartless).
