I am officially finished, as of this past Wednesday, with classes until August 22nd. Of course, I go back to work a week from today, but I am trying not to think about that.

Wow! To me, that went by fast!

And no, let's not think about going back to work already, that was fast too!

Well, it may be normal -- TSM is always crazy with Fast Passes -- but it is still ridiculous. I wouldn't wait around that long -- like you said, thank goodness you have Park Hoppers!

And honestly, if I hadn't purchased them, I probably would have added them on.

Well, today is the big day. Squirt turns one. It's happy and bittersweet all at the same time. I can't believe how far we've come in a year.

We've been working like mad to get things ready for his big birthday party this weekend. I'll make sure to take plenty of pictures, because it's Mickey-themed. Instead of traditional colors, we went with lime green and a bright cobalt blue, and he'll be wearing the tie dye I made him for this trip. I'm really looking forward to seeing all our family and friends, and having a happy celebration in our new home.

Tonight we'll have dinner with Dad, Nana, and my sister. She flew in for Squirt's birthday, and I'm looking forward to a nice family dinner.

Now I must go. It's time to spoil him rotten.

Again, total agreement. I think at some point, it's got to die down, right? I'm afraid it won't until they create something else new that is the next big thing. It's so popular because it's Toy Story, it's essentially like a video game, and everyone really loves that. But still. You're right. It's been open for quite some time.

Now I know that Buzz in the MK isn't the same caliber, but the hype on that died down to manageable eventually and that was crazy when it first opened. Maybe not as crazy, but still.

Happy Birthday to Squirt, but sorry that you have been missing your mom more than usual lately, TK!

Twelve hours for TSM Fast Passes??? Seriously??? That is ridiculous! I like the ride and all, but I don't think it is all that. I guess it's because it is the only true family friendly ride at DHS these days. Still, it blows my mind! Interested to see how things transpire for this day.

I think it's that exactly. It's the only ride for the whole family that people want to do more than once. We spent hardly any time at DHS on our last trip, even though it's DH's favorite, because there was only so much that we could do with the baby, and we skipped TSM entirely.

Oh well...maybe Disney will figure out that having an hour+ wait for TSM all the time is keeping people out of the stores and restaurants, and they'll do something to deter the crowds.

Ok, so after joining in on the Tiaras, Tutus, & Tie-Dye and reading the entire tr (so far) of Tinkerbellerella, I had to come & read yours. And cry like a baby!!

I just want to tell you that I lost my Daddy 9 years ago this summer. I was pregnant at the time with baby #4, & it was soooooo hard on me! I miss him every day. I still tear up when one of the kids says or does something like he used to or when I think about how he never got to see any of them grown up & never even met 2 of them. I totally know what you mean about being better for having gone thru this, but it doesn't mean you wanted it or needed it or don't wish they were still there. I wasn't done with him!!!

I will say that I was a mess for quite a while. It does get easier to bear, tho, I promise. You will always miss her & wish she was right there with you, but she still is. That is evident in your trip & your life with your family.

Now I obviously HAVE to come run with all of you lovely ladies in 2013!!

I know what you mean about the anger. I think my sister is still angry, which really makes me sad. Until you can get past that, for the most part, it probably won't all be gone, you really can't heal.
