Title compliments of my Dis Chat buddies, thanks!!!

Disney Aug 30- Sep 4th, 2007

Awesome is the description used by my 5yo DNephew to sum up his experiences at Disney.

Cast: Grandma, Auntie and Zeke (celebrated 6th birthday at Disney)

Credentials: Grandma is a Veteran, been to every park, stayed at “the Villas” years ago, Auntie is a Disney light weight, never stayed on site, one day visits, hadn’t been to AK, Zeke is a Disney newbie, but knows characters and shows (PH Disney, HSM, etc.) a veteran of The Disney Channel and DVDs!

We have 6 days to post, day 5 and 6 will likely be one post.

Day 1 Thursday August 30th: Arrival at Walt Disney World

Zeke and Grandma arrived at Orlando airport early. Auntie’s flight was a bit late. After checking in for Magical Express they held the bus for Auntie. Zeke and Grandma were sitting right behind the driver. Grandma bolted to a rear seat as soon as Auntie set foot on the bus. Apparently DN Zeke was very excited about Disney, Mickey and all things Disney that Grandma so welcomed the break that Auntie represented! True to form Zeke kept the training driver (not the guy driving the bus) occupied with questions and answered trivia asked by Norman the Magical Express supervisor. The two became quick pals and posed for photos together. Before we knew it we were at the Caribbean Beach Resort Custom House.

There was practically no line when we arrived at 3pm and check in went along pretty smoothly including Zeke receiving Disney stickers which he quickly shared and placed on Grandma and Auntie. There was a snag, our CRO packet (keepsake luggage tags, vouchers, etc. was not received pre-trip and was not at check in. They were delivered to our room a couple of days later. We then boarded an internal shuttle and headed for our room.

We booked a standard room and made no special requests. Since I am a Disney lightweight I decided to just experience the reservation system “raw” and make adjustments the next time if needed, well, no need. We were assigned to Martinique bldg 22, closest to preferred w/o being preferred. The bus stop was right out front of the bldg and the quiet pool was next door. We were very close to Old Port Royale for both the pool and food service. We are very happy at this point.

We left our carry on bags in the room and headed to the food court for a light late lunch. We got two adult meals: Pizza combo w/side salad and veggie burger and fries and two slices of carrot cake. We got chocolate milk and a fountain drink. Mom doctored her burger at the fixings bar, we all grazed on the fries, auntie ate the side salad with a bit of pizza and Zeke happily ate his pizza and drank chocolate milk. Mom chose apple juice as a fountain beverage, I had water. Grandma and Auntie shared the carrot cake and took the second slice and leftover chocolate milk to the room and placed in the fridge.

Zeke and I headed to the pool he’s a new swimmer so I waited for him as he came off the slide. He was nervous at first but soon inhibitions were dropped and he was back to being the fish that he is, 3.5’ tall in over 4’ of water and loving it. We returned to the room to get ready for dinner. Grandma was napping and bell services had dropped off our luggage. After showers we were ready to head to the Grand Floridian for dinner at Narcoossee’s, 8pm ADR.

Dinner ADR Narcoossee’s
Getting there: We took the Magic Kingdom bus, followed by the resort launch to GF. The GF boat dock is right next to Narcoossee’s, could not have been easier. After checking in we had a short wait for our table. We had a 4 topper just at the top of the ramp. Great view of the Seven Seas Lagoon. Chevy was our server, very magical. I had listed that Zeke was celebrating a birthday at Disney, but made no special requests. They had a birthday button ready for him and when we looked at our menus we noticed a personalized message: Happy 6th Birthday Zeke! What a magical way to start our trip. Needless to say Zeke was grinning from ear to ear and asking “how’d they do that”. I told him it was the magic at Disney.

The Meal: Chevy truly made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble, often ready for a yes before we could get the request out. I chose a specialty drink, a Mango smoothie oh my goodness, move over Dole Whips, meet my new little friend! Mom saved her beverage choice to the end of the meal, pressed pot of chamomile tea. Chevy explained that everything on the menu was available as part of the Dining Plan, nothing off limits. He also added that we could have 3 courses, so we could have had an appetizer, salad/soup and entrée as opposed to appetizer, entrée dessert. We stuck with the latter. For appetizers we had the Crab Cakes, all crab no cake/fillers and the Narcoossee’s Chowder, oh it was so good! Our Entrees were the Chef featured Grouper and Surf and Turf, substituted Grilled Sea Scallops for the Turf. All items were excellent, melt in your mouth excellent. Zeke had the Mickey pasta with marinara and parmesan in the “ear” containers. Not only did he like it, it was fun to eat. He didn’t eat much. I think he was full from the pizza he devoured earlier. We paid OOP for him, a total of $10, heavy on the tip. Zeke passed on dessert, but I ordered a banana split (kids menu). Grandma had the YOAMD Almond crusted cheesecake. She was in awe with the presentation, then she tasted it let me have a bit and devoured the rest. I didn’t finish my entrée or dessert and she had some grouper left.

The Entertainment: With our ADR time we were able to catch the electric water parade. Zeke lit up when he looked out the window at the parade. Zeke and Grandma went out to the dock to watch while I was content to watch from my seat while I enjoyed my dinner. I ventured out to the deck to watch Wishes while a tired Zeke and Grandma stayed at the table. Zeke is not a fan of the noise associated with fireworks. However, before the show ended they joined me on the dock to watch. We got the magic w/o using a ticket!

Trip back to CBR: We boarded the boat which stopped at the Polynesian before heading to the Magic Kingdom. Zeke had a second wind by then, so we jumped off at the Poly and had a look around. Mom really liked it. I thought I’d reserve judgment until I could see it in the day light. We used 2 snack credits on Entenmanns’s donuts and cinnamon buns for the room. We took the monorail back to MK and caught the post Wishes crowd heading “home” for the evening. Our bus line was huge we got on the 5th or 6th CBR bus that came. At one point 3 buses pulled up at once, “and the crowded roared loudly”…lol That night Zeke memorized #16, bus line for CBR hotel.

Day 2 Friday Aug 31st: Some call this a Commando day, I’m still in denial

8am Magic Kingdom Little Ones Magic Hour (LOMH): We entered the park with Zeke and me motoring down Main St to get to Fantasyland. Grandma took a more leisurely pace, but we were too excited and wanted to get the party started. Zeke’s first ride at Disney, Cinderella’s Carousel. Chip and Dale were on board during the ride! We then exited the ride and had a chance to play “knees toes” with Minnie. We then got in line for Dumbo and got on with waiting just one cycle. Stitch was riding Dumbo that AM, though not in our car. While we were airborne I said to Zeke, “look, there’s Mickey and Pluto”. He promptly yells, “Stop the ride, stop the ride!”. He just had to get to Mickey, Mickey was waiting to see him…lol good thing the ride was ending anyway. We then get to the circle area where Minnie had been and he got to meet Mickey. Next he got to play follow the leader with Peter Pan, Wendy and Capt. Hook. He soon bored with that and we rode Peter Pan twice. We did all of this before 9am! We were then hit by some pixie dust and were whisked away to Tomorrowland!

The Astro Orbiter was completely empty we were first on, more exciting than Dumbo because of the height. We rode the TTA, Buzz and Indy Speedway. We headed over to Frontierland and got caught up in Woody’s Cowboy camp. We took the pledge to Hoot ‘n Holler and were deemed Cowboy and girls! We were ready for something big after that and the biggest thing we could find was the Riverboat. Once on the boat the pixie dust started to fly again and Zeke was pulled into the captain’s chamber. Apparently the captain needed some help and Zeke was the man for the job. Zeke drove the boat that trip. Yup, no drivers license or learner’s permit, but he handled that big rig on water. He has a certificate to prove it. Now the boat is forever his boat. Feeling like a really big boy we headed over to Big Thunder Mountain. Reality set in on that ride, we are not so big after all. From that point on that ride became known as “the one I don’t like”. After a brief stop in the playground we boarded the railroad over to Toontown.

First stop was Mickey’s country house. We had photos taken with Mickey! Now back in our own element we rode Goofy’s Barnstormer which became “my favorite ride”. By this point we are really hungry. So we board the railroad and head to the main entrance to catch the monorails to Epcot. We let the first one go by and we were able to ride in the front on the very next monorail. Once completing the transfer and heading into Epcot we took a straight path to Coral Reef for lunch.

Coral Reef: 2pm ADR
We were starving when we arrived. I checked us in, mind you we may have been 30-60 minutes early (wore no watches and tried to bury the cell phones). Headed to the restroom and pager went off before we could finish washing our hands. We were seated on the middle tier toward the far end of the dining room, nice spot, able to see all tanks.

Immediately we received a basket of sourdough bread which we dug into and loved. Grandma ordered the virgin strawberry daiquiri while Zeke and I opted for soft drinks. Zeke ate a full kid’s meal: apple slices (ate them all), cheese pizza (there’s a pattern here) and make your own sundae, had more fun making it than eating it! Auntie had the same dessert and the bbq salmon sandwich, open face on multigrain bread. Salmon was great and I don’t really like bbq sauce! Had the crab claw appetizer which isn’t something I’d order again. Grandma had the Tilapia and crab cakes. Fish was really good, but after Narcoossee’s they’d have to do something special to wow us. Once again Grandma ordered cheesecake and ate it all. Before dessert Zeke and I ventured back to the restroom to discover the lobby littered with bodies, it was pouring rain and we were chilling with the fish dry as could be. I laughed out loud knowing that pixie dust was still with us! By the time we left it was just a light drizzle and we head back to the resort for nap time. We had a big night ahead of us.

8/31 Pirate and Princess Party:
We extended our rest time and got ready for the party. We arrived at MK around 8pm, party started at 7pm. Zeke was dressed in shorts a Pirate t-shirt and a Jack Sparrow headband complete with dreads and beads. We stopped and posed for a photo with Pirate Timothy on Main St. We started the night in Adventureland. We passed on the long line to meet Jack Sparrow and hit the treasure spots, met Aladdin and then rode his magic carpet ride. As we passed through to Frontierland the parade was coming through we caught Jack Sparrow’s float and then the traditional Disney characters. We then ducked into the Country Bear Jamboree. We hit more treasure spots on the way to Fantasyland where we rode Small World. We returned to Liberty Square and found bench spots to watch the second running of the parade. I grabbed dinner from Peco Bill’s (veggie burger combos with pudding and yogurt for desserts and Dasani and OJ for drinks). Zeke just had fries and pudding, not much pudding. The parade was a bit scary for Zeke as some of the pirates are too much like the movie. However, he calmed down as it became more Disney characters. We sat right across from LTT and Zeke sat right on the parade route line while I had an awesome bench seat. Grandma stood and video taped most of the parade. After finishing dinner we headed back to Fantasyland where we could easily see and hear the fireworks. Zeke and Grandma headed into Peter Pan while auntie enjoyed an amazing fireworks show. Next we headed into Philharmagic. We learned then NO MORE 3D shows for him. He was in Grandma’s lap the whole time.

We sat for the late presentation of Dream Along with Mickey. The show was fun, though Zeke jumped at a few of the loud pyrotechnics. There was an announcement that the show couldn't be continued due to technical difficulties, hmm. Not sure what happened. We just got up and headed over to Tomorrowland.

In Tomorrowland things were really jumping. We joined the dance party and did the Cupid slide. Auntie enjoyed this the most and was really, really shaking her tail feather! We met Stitch there and then played a number of carnival games for treasure. The best game was the Pirate dunking tank. Little Zeke nailed him on the first throw! Pirate hadn’t even had a chance to talk trash to him, lol. We got a lot of chocolate treasure. Zeke even said no thank you at a couple of stops in Tomorrowland!

On the way out of the park we took some Photopass shots in front of the castle. Grandma chose one of those for the free 5x7 that came in our room package. We closed down the park. Overall the party was fun, lines were short or non existent and there was plenty to do.

Day 3 September 1st: Chef Mickey and Epcot day

After our late Pirate night we slept in and arrived on time for our 11am ADR at Chef Mickey’s. Upon arriving at the Contemporary we were greeted by Carl from PA. He gave us directions to Chef Mickey’s, noticed Zeke’s birthday pin and told him he took a call for him earlier. We headed over to the desk where Zeke took a happy birthday call from Goofy, he loved it! That was just a random act, nothing arranged by us. We took the group photo which I later bought. I didn’t buy any other souvenirs. Hands down Chef Mickey’s was his favorite. Between the characters (while waiting for our seat and table visits), watching for the monorail and the napkin waving (once in his honor) this kid was very stimulated and didn’t spend much time eating. Grandma discovered the gift shop across the hall TROUBLE, we spent a bit of time while she shopped there. We took a few photos out behind the Contemporary as we headed to the boat launch to Ft. Wilderness for pony rides.

We decided to disembark at the Wilderness Lodge to have a look then take the next boat to the campground. As we entered the WL lobby it started to rain, pixie dust still working. We toured the resort gift shop lobby, grounds. It continued to rain so we spent an hour or so in the arcade. We then took a bus to Downtown Disney en route to the Lego store.

Zeke was hungry, (too busy being entertained at Chef Mickey’s to eat) so he got lunch at McDonald’s before we played with Legos. He bought (his own $) a small car kit for $5. We ventured into The World of Disney, that place was just too ridiculous and daunting! I snuck over to Basin and bought a great Peppermint lotion and Olive Oil body butter. Final DTD stop was Goofy’s candy shop to use one snack credit for 3 dipped pretzel rods. We took them back to the room and put them in the fridge for later. We were pretty beat so we took naps and awoke in time to head to MK for Spectromagic and Wishes. We got excellent curb seating near the park entrance close to the start of the parade. Zeke saw kids using the hula hoops during the warm up and wanted a turn. We let him go to the CM and ask for a turn. He patiently waited for one to become free and boy could that little boy hula! We were proud that he returned the hoop to the CM with enough time for another child to have some fun too. He was sharing the magic. The parade was awesome and he loved it, no scary pirates!

I had not eaten since Chef Mickey’s and was really hungry. We stopped in at the Main St. bakery for a late meal. I ordered the basil mozzarella sandwich, a huge slice of carrot cake and apple juice. Zeke grabbed an Uncrustable PB&J, milk and I think a banana. Thanks for my DIS buds for even letting me know about these things.

Zeke wanted to see Tinkerbelle fly over the castle so we stayed for the start of Wishes. He caught a glimpse of her, but soon was not happy about staying. Grandma whisked him away to a nearby restroom while auntie found a spot near The Plaza to watch the show. He made it back out for the end of Wishes and seemed to be OK. On our way out we peaked in a couple of shops along Main Street and stopped for photos with Goofy on the bench. Zeke was delighted to find that this Goofy talked! Once again we headed to CBR cue #16 and it didn’t take too long for our bus to arrive.

Day 4 Sunday Sept. 2nd: Our best day yet

We canceled our ADR for the Playhouse Disney character breakfast. We decided that sleeping in was a better choice and we had not gotten Zeke to the pool since our arrival day. Zeke and I left Grandma in the room and headed to the food court. I ordered the bounty platter (declined the bacon and sausage), grabbed OJ and chocolate milk. We shared breakfast then headed to the pool. Grandma eventually joined us at the pool where we stayed until just afternoon. We got cleaned up and headed to the Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom
We were very efficient at AK and for the first time Grandma grabbed a stroller for Zeke. We headed through the Oasis to the Lion King for the 2pm show. We were seated and loved the show. We then headed to the Wildlife Express for Rafiki’s planet watch. En route we stopped for ice cream snacks: Auntie Mickey Bar, Zeke and Grandma frozen fruit bars, very refreshing. We parked the stroller and headed to the train. Zeke really loved this part of the day. We did an activity where we had to find animals (bugs) that are common in your backyard. Once he found them all and marked them off on his chalk board he received a membership card. We headed into the building (can you say AC) and got a talk about tarantulas, met Rafiki and Pocohantas, saw a Dart Frog and listened to an audio show on the rainforest. We took a return train back to the park. The parade was passing by as we returned so he heading to a viewing spot. We learned that the parade makes another loop, so we grabbed the stroller and headed to great viewing spot on the return loop of the parade. We got to see the entire parade and even high five some characters and entertainers. We loved this parade for the music, characters and creative floats/costumes on display. Our final stop was Nemo. We walked in for the final show, no line and got seats in the middle section toward the left side. We all loved this show. That was our AK day, in under 4hrs!

Dinner at Boma, Flavors of Africa
We boarded the bus to AK Lodge for our dinner at Boma. We had to take the elevator down to the first floor to get to Boma. The waiting area was pretty packed with many looking like they’d had a long day in the parks. We checked in, got our pager, took a restroom break and grabbed seats. After a few minutes Zeke and I headed out to the observation area. There wasn’t much activity there so we headed to the playground for a bit. We took another look off the deck and spotted a giraffe. We headed back to Boma and as we reached for the door our pager went off. Another quick clean up stop and we were seated. Zeke stuck with the mac & cheese and fries, though he did try one of the breads and liked it. Grandma and I were much more adventurous and loved it. We had potatoes (too spicy for a kid), salmon, seafood soup, green beans, sweet potato and yams and more. I wasn’t too impressed with desserts there, but that was fine as the food was good and I was filled anyway. A few tables over the group were celebrating and the chef sent out a towering dessert which included fried Oreos. They shared an Oreo with us. We tasted it but were too full to finish it. What we had we enjoyed, but were just stuffed.

Thanks to the DIS boards I picked up a tip and bought glow bracelets and a glow stick from Wal-mart before leaving home. I checked these items as I'm not sure they'd make it as carry on items. Each pack was less than $1 and served us well. We’d used the bracelets the night before, but I gave Zeke the glow stick just as we were leaving Boma. He had a ball with that while we awaited the Epcot bus from AKL.

Epcot and MK EMH
We caught Illuminations then took the monorails to MK. First stop was to get a stroller then off to the Chapeau, Zeke was ready to get his ears. He selected the traditional black Mickey ears with his name on the back. Next it was time to see Wishes. We stood in the middle of Main Street and had a much better view of Tinkerbelle. Zeke stayed and enjoyed the entire fireworks show!!! It is so fun to watch them develop right before your eyes. We headed to Fantasyland where Zeke shrieked when he saw Pluto so we got in the Pluto line. After getting our first “ears photo” with Pluto we found Goofy in front of the carousel. Goofy was just goofy, knocking the ears off of Zeke while he was horsing around with him. The CM helped fix Zeke back up and I got great shots after that. Chip and Dale were next on the list so we headed just past Dumbo to catch them. We had to wait through a short break, but got great photos and interaction with them too. I even jumped into those photos and may even have snagged a peck on the cheek! The line for Dumbo and Peter Pan were really long. We rode it’s a Small World then headed up to Adventureland and rode Aladdin, much shorter line than Dumbo. We took one more ride through Fantasyland and Zeke conked out, love those strollers! We met up with Grandma by the park entrance; she peeled off to go to the Tiki show. Zeke woke up and walked to the bus. The bus was packed, but a gentleman was nice enough to give us his seat so I could hold a slumbering Zeke. Our room was pretty close to the bus stop and Zeke was awake enough to walk home.

Day 5 Monday Sep. 3rd, Labor Day: Mixed bag

Golf
Auntie had a 10am golf tee time so with Entenmanns’s sticky bun in hand she headed out to meet the taxi to take her to Osprey. I played 18 holes and loved the excursion. This course is closing in 2010 to make way for the Four Seasons resort. I figured I may as well try it while I could.

Epcot Make up Day
Grandma and Zeke headed to Epcot. We had intended to go to Epcot the day it rained and we hung at out the Wilderness Lodge and Downtown Disney instead. I gave Grandma my park planner for Epcot. They hit them all and got to the World Showcase before heading to the Magic Kingdom around 1:30pm. I met them at MK around 3:30 and we headed to MGM for our ADR at Hollywood & Vine, Fantasmic package.

MGM and MGM EMH
Getting from MK to MGM is not fun: Monorail to TTC then a bus to MGM. Took us a while longer than planned and we were late for our ADR. There was a pretty good cue at Hollywood and Vine and we waited our turn. While waiting Zeke and I took in a street performer show of 3 “dumb” construction workers. Zeke laughed his little head off and before you knew it was time for dinner. We all ate well there, though the food was the most average of all our TS meals. Brenda was our server and was very accommodating. Grandma and I made orange floats for dessert (orange soda and soft serve vanilla), yummy.

We ventured out into the park to find that many of the items we were interested in were over for the day. We stopped in to check our photopass photos and Grandma selected a shot in front of the castle that we had taken on our Pirate Party night. This was the free 5x7 included in our room package. For the most part we weren’t too impressed with the Photopass photos. We entered for Fantasmic with plenty of time to spare. Grandma made a water and popcorn run. I think she really liked having the snack credits on the card! We loved the show even though Zeke had his scary moments. From then on he would say, “Hey there’s Fantasmic Mickey!” After the show Grandma headed back to the resort.

Zeke and I milled around the park until the Playhouse Disney party opened up. Once Zeke saw the doors were open he bolted, but slowed at the door to tell the CM, “I’m not by myself, my aunt is coming”, before heading inside. The CM relayed this story to me as she described him as so cute for doing that. Well he started dancing immediately, and I must say the DJ was very good and very fun. He changed hats with every song and danced himself. Jo Jo and Goliath were at the party and Zeke danced with them both. All of the little ones we shaking their “tail feathers” and all of us big ones were trying to capture the moments on film. Zeke and some other boys found an area in the corner where they could really let loose and break dance, oh so funny. Before we knew it there was a surprise announcement: Minnie and Mickey had joined the party and Pluto and Goofy too. The place erupted Pluto started a conga line, Zeke was right up front for that one. He asked about dancing with Mickey before leaving for the trip, well check that wish off the list, done. Party must have started near 9:45 and we left around 10:15, kicking and screaming of course. We were on the bus by 10:30 and at the resort before 11. Grandma was not in the room which meant one thing, hot tub/pool. I wanted a snack/drink so we headed out got those and found grandma in the pool. We took the snacks back to the room changed and headed back to the main pool. Zeke made fast friends with siblings from Indiana. As midnight approached the parents we lamenting, oh god how are we ever going to get them out of here tonight. Well in steps Grandma, Zeke its time to go and w/o too much whining out they all came! Back in the room we enjoyed late snacks, Zeke had gotten the apples with the caramel dip and this time ate the dip with the apples. This seemed to be one of his favorite snacks. He always ate the apples, but passed on the caramel or brown sugar twice. Finally we all climbed in bed.

Day 6: Departure Day
I woke early and finished packing. We had planned to head to MGM for some characters and HSM, but Zeke wasn’t stirring and I was content to let him sleep. I called the 8844 number and Grandma and I booked our next stay using the bounceback. We’ll be at the Wilderness Lodge. Zeke finally woke and was geeked to head to the park. So a cinnamon swirl, powdered donut, milk and juice later we are on our way. Grandma stayed and slept in before finishing the packing. She took a slip and fall at the pool the night before and was pretty sore. We had a late checkout until 12:30 then 2pm ME.

Zeke and I arrived at MGM and headed to find Lightning McQueen, “the best race care ever”, in case you didn’t know this. We had just missed them. We did find Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable, Buzz and Woody with short lines and spent time with them all. We then got in position for HSM Pep Rally. He is a big fan of those movies so this was a big to do. He got to shoot one of the basketballs thrown to the audience and got up and danced during the Together number, fun. We headed back over and just missed the line for the Cars, argh. However the vehicles were still there so we got our photo shots with them anyway! We ventured over to the Animation area and found a CM who told us where to look for Emile and Remy. We went downstairs in the Animation building(great AC) and found an Incredible, played with the interactive exhibits there and finally got in line for Remy and Emile. That was our last stop.

I kept asking Zeke what he wanted for breakfast and he said ice cream. I said you know what it’s our last day on vacation so if you want ice cream for breakfast you can have it, BIG BIG smile. He chose an itzakadoodle and finished it before we boarded the bus back to the resort. We got off the bus at the food court, grabbed pizzas for lunch and started to eat. I checked the clock and realized it was getting really close to check out time. I packed our meals to go (including a Mickey bar and another itzakadoodle) and headed back to the room to be sure we were ready for the bell services. I sat Zeke at table in the quiet pool area so he could finish lunch while I went to get grandma to sit with him. I arrived at the room to find paramedics, my heart sank. Grandma was fine, but had called regarding her fall and this is the normal procedure. I am so glad I had left Zeke around the corner, he would have been really worried by all of that. I went back to Zeke while Grandma finished up. Bell services came loaded up the luggage and took me to the Custom House for check in. Zeke and Grandma were not on a Disney partner airline. They headed back to the pool for a quick swim for Zeke while I checked in and met them back at Port Royale. At about 1pm we got Zeke out of the water and in for a shower and change then waited for the internal bus to return us to the Custom House for our 2pm ME. I grabbed one last set of CS meals. The cashier helped me select items for to use our final 2CS credits: apple, banana, 2 waters, OJ, PB&J sandwich, apples and caramel. I ate the banana, water and OJ while we waited for ME. I never really got to finish my pizza, so this was a welcome snack. We had a good trip back on ME enjoying the Disney marketing video that played, able to note items we had seen or done.

I am very thankful that we were able to take this trip and know that a lot of magical things went our way. I am looking forward to our next trip and the Wilderness Lodge will add another layer of magic for us. Hopefully we’ll find our way over to the campground to get Zeke that pony ride too!

Thanks for reading and commenting. Now more of your TR! popcorn::

We switched our 2008 ressie to AKL. I figured Mara will be better for us than Roaring Forks, we'll definitely eat at Boma and not at WCC and the animals and kids activities work well for us. The zero depth entry pool is also a plus.

What a lovely report! I truely loved reading it. But I would not call it commando. It sounds like you enjoyed yourself
