Commando Club 2016

Definitely not what I was thinking when I read the title..

We mover from Nor Cal to FL primarily for WDW some of us no work there even tho it wasn't all of our intentions. I have no complaints living here other than DLR no longer being a weekend trip.

Glad I'm not the only one! My thoughts went to a totally different place!! :lmao:

So commando touring means doing everything???

Well you can't do everything but doing as much as possible. For us it means rooe drop, no mid day breaks, staying till closing, and mainly counter service as table service takes longer

Commando touring means having a plan before going of what you are going to do and sometimes exactly when, that's not always the case though. I personally plan to do my favorite rides that get busiest first and then relax and do whatever afternoon.

We're totally commando with the exception of Table Service... I am already planning to the minute and I am five months out... doing up "test runs" in with sample days in Ridemax. LOL. I WILL NOT give up my Table Service at this point... but with DxDDP and ADRS - I really think that is just a different "style" of commando trying to make it all work!!!! :)

That's awesome! What are some of the things you plan to do?

My last two trips I was definitely a commando tourer(?), rope drop to park close, but this time I'm trying to take it down a notch or two. We'll see how that goes...

But, I'm not gonna lie, when I hear the word commando, I automatically think of Friends.

Haha! Of course timings may change since I'm trying to use light crowd May hours in place of August. And FP availability...

  • First day - we have ADRs for early BOG before Park Opening (of course we will preorder) - hoping to get an early ride on 7DMT
  • Full morning of rides - maxing with Ride Max (plan mapped out for whole day)
  • Chef Mickey's at Noon
  • Followed by Pirate's League and Pirate Tutorial
  • Squeeze a visit in with Woody/Jessy
  • Dream Along with Mickey Show
  • FP Peter Pan
  • Dinner at BOG at 5:10 (Going to work on making this a little later if it becomes avaiable.)
  • FP 7DMT
  • More rides
  • FP SpaceM
  • Incredible's Dance Party or meet Buzz depending on time
  • More rides
  • Funnel Cake from Sleepy Hollow and attempt to stake out spot for MSEP
  • Wishes from Tomorrowland Bridge if possible
  • Probably a Mickey Bar somewhere along the way....
  • Stay late before attempting buses (Unless kids cannot - although we have a stroller that reclines if necessary.)
Now I just need to work on Days 2-10! LOL
