I've lurked on this site many times before trips, finally registered this time. We bought at SSR in 2004 and this is our first time staying there. Me 41, DW 40, DD 13 & DD12. We have been going away for Thanksgiving week plus a few days ever since my DDs had Chicken pox for the holiday in 99 and we had to celebrate at home alone. This will probably be the last time, since DD 13 is going to high school next year. We started to enjoy the holiday to ourselves prior to all of the Christmas time madness with the rest of the family (we all live very close to our parents & sibs).
Started planning in Jan 2006 and booked 6 nights. Last month, we added 2 nights at Vero Beach for the first 2 nights. Added one night at Boardwalk and one one night at Pop Centurey at the end (kind of crazy, but we had the points and really want to stay as long as possible).
Thus far, we have ADRs on the DDP at Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef, Raglan Road, Marrakesh, Concourse Steakhouse and Sci-Fi Drive In.
We'll spend T-Day at the resort. The DDs are competeitive swimmers, so their coach wants them to practice while they are there. He set them up with a team in Orlando to train with. We'll see how that flies!
