DS has been in Iraq for over a year... he will be back at Ft.Hood soon! ZIPPIDEE DOO DAH!!! He called his wife from Kuwait yesterday!!!!!

My other DS flew to PA to pick up Mike's son and will take him to Texas so he can be with the rest of the family to greet dad. They all will be up to see us soon. Thank you God for this blessing. It is most appreciated.

To all those military families with loved ones deployed throughout the world... know that you are appreciated and prayed for often.

Joan, GREAT news. I'm so happy for you and your family. I know how much you have worried over him and his kids. Only thing, I would take out the dates from your post. It's just my anal side kicking in not trying to be critical. Anyways a very Merry Christmas to you and your family.

YAY!!! My DH has been in Iraq since Oct 06 also and he will hopefully be home before this year is over! It still doesn't seem real, I guess it won't until I see him march into the special events center. I get choked up everytime I think about it, I just can't believe the deployment from hell is almost over! Thank GOD!
