In case you haven't heard the new Avengers' move will be titled "The Avengers: Ago of Ultron."

So no Thanos yet. I guess they are going to keep building toward that. This is link for info on the story from the comics...

The only question is timing on this one. Ant-Man AKA Henry Pym who creates Ultron won't have his own move until the fall of 2015, several months after A2 is released.

Be sure to check out Marvel's coverage of ComicCon so you too can see what might come to a Mono-rail, UniStudios, or any non-Florida Disney Park in the future.

I forgot to mention, but the Guardians of Galaxy are a part of the Age of Ultron story (and later Thanos) so this will tie in nicely with that film.

They still have 3 release dates without an official movie named yet in 2016-2018. One should be an Avernger 3, squaring off with Thanos, but knows gets the other spots.

Pym can still show up before his movie. In the Ultimate universe he started out as a SHIELD scientist. They have been borrowing more from the Ultimate universe to create the Cinematic universe, so it is plausible.

Just wished they knew in Phase 1 they were gonna cancel the Ant-man movie, they could've had Pym be the one working with Banner instead of setting up The Leader(who they'll probably never bring in since the rumor is HULK 2 is gonna be Planet Hulk)

It's worth noting that Joss Whedon was quick to say that they're using the character of Ultron and the title "Age of Ultron," but that they're writing their own story for it. While they will certainly borrow elements of the story from the existing Ultron story arcs out there, it's pretty clear that they don't feel beholden to those existing stories much at all.

There's nothing that says the Hank Pym who develops Ultron in Avengers 2 has to also be Ant-Man. Heck, there's nothing that says Ultron has to be developed by Hank Pym. They could just as easily shift the story and make Ultron a Tony Stark project for the film.

Whedon has already said Pym won't be in Avengers 2. So you may be right.

That similar to what Fox is doing with Day of Future's Past. Same name & concept but original plot.

Doesn't mean 100% not in it. Could also be said to keep stuff secret, like how Thanos was said to not be in Avengers. (although techniquely he wasn't) or how Micheal Bay said yes to everything being in Transformers 2 (still mad about no Dinobot)
