Hi everyone

I am going to The world again for the 7th time with my DDs and new partner who is very scared as first trip and first holiday with DDs  . She wants it to be so special but is worried she won't get around without sore feet . I know you will help me and tell me which shoes I should buy her so she has a stress free trip and is introduced to the greatest place in the world   .

Crocs again :thumbsup2

I bought Crocs Athens on our last trip and have hardly had them off my feet since ;)

I wear my Athens all day every day except when I'm at work when I wear Crocs Beach! :teeth:

Crocs (again) bought some for my trip next year already, but have been wearing them just to check them out of course!

I don't think you can beat a pair of Birkenstock sandals, they're moulded to support your feet and are so comfy. I would alternate between them and a pair of trainers - as for crocs, well, they're an acquired taste! :rotfl2:

Question about the crocs people: should they be broken in first like most other shoes, or are they ok because they mould to your feet anyway? Just wondering if i could wait till I get to MCO to buy some?
Claire xx

I found the toe post on the Athens took a day or two to soften but the Beach/Cayman were ok straight away. I'm going to order another pair of the Athens as they are wonderful.

Just a note to add that you can buy the Athens, from Australia, with a suede insole or the ones from www.crocshop.co.uk that have a moulded insole (same as the ones I bought in Orlando) :sunny:

I have a pair of both and they're both really comfy :thumbsup2

I'm thinking of trying the Scute - they look quite nice too.

Do the sizes come big or small. I can be a size 4 or 5, depending on the shoe, so don't want the hassle of having to send them back!

Fly Flots absolutely crippled me and I threw them away whilst there.

I tried Crocs for my last trip and they were FAB!!

Crocs every day for me!!

Someone posted a link to retailers a few weeks ago.
Maybe if you do a search, on the UK boards, you'll be able to find it? :sunny:

Wow they look fab, never heard or seen crocs before, but if it means comfort and not having to wear sweaty socks with trainers everyday i'm in!
- i think i may order the scutes they look nice but not sure if would need a bit of toe protection ..so unsure as to whether or not to get some beach instead ...

Question. I am thinking about getting Croc Athens. However, what happens if it rains? Do they get Slippery? :)

To be honest thay are a little slippery on tiled surfaces when it's wet.
Not had any other problems :thumbsup2

Office have started selling Crocs, but I'm not sure which ones. Personally, I'm a flip-flop girl :)
