comfy shoes

Office have started selling Crocs, but I'm not sure which ones. Personally, I'm a flip-flop girl :)

Athen's flip flops are great :thumbsup2

There are several places they can be bought, online, in the UK now.
Just check that the p&p is free as one or two sites are charging.
Ordered a 'back up' pair this morning from www.sweetfeetshoes.co.uk £24.95 :sunny:

A girly thread if ever there was one :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My wife went to ladies day on Thurs and got some very high (and sexy I have to say) shoes, came back with the walking ability of Bambi on Ice. YOu women and shoes tut tut tut!

Pair of Reeboks will suffice.

Someone posted a link to retailers a few weeks ago.
Maybe if you do a search, on the UK boards, you'll be able to find it? :sunny:
Found out our local stockists were £5 cheaper than buying on line from the Crocshop but the problem was they only had about five choices of colours and one style.

I just use a well worn in pair of trainers though your feet can get a bit hot. Crocs are supposed to be really comfortable, I like the Nile version which isn't on sale here though I always have had a problem with sling backs staying on so I don't know whether they will be suitable.

I shown my hubbie a pair of Crocs in our local garden centre. He thought they were the ugliest shoes ever. I would have to agree but then comfort is the top priority in Orlando. The good thing about Crocs is that they would be water proof. We got caught in a heavy shower last year and our trainers ended up being soaked.

I have worn my Crocs, Athens, flip flops, almost none stop since I bought them in March (even when my toes have been almost blue with the cold at times.............. ;) )

Just ordered another pair, online, and had to put up with my Mum complaining that flip flops shouldn't cost £25!

Through carrying my 3 kids, on my right hip over the last 22 years I, occasionally, have problems with hip pain and certain shoes.
Give me a pair of Crocs and I have been plodding along, pain free, since I bought them

Well worth the cash in my book :cloud9:

Just be careful in the rain as they can be quite slippy when wet-especially on tiled flooring :sunny:

Anothyer supporter for crocs here. The sizes come up a loittle ion the large side, but they are meant to be that way as you do not feel the sides muvch at all when wearing them.

Beaxh and Caymens do not need to be broken in, the problem is once you start wearing them you won't want to stop, and you will get noticed!

You can get the cheaper version of crocs in Barratts and Soccer Sports.

I have three pairs of crocs and wear them all the time. I go walking at lunch times each day at work so I wear them for work. I also find them really good for cycling as well.

Now they are so trendy all the stars are wearing them and men also.

The Barratts version are Skechers Beach and called Waterbugs and now down to £7 in the sale :)

My local shop had pink, blue and black, well they had pink, blue and black only got pink left now ;)

Earlier in this thread i mentioned that i was going to order some Scutes - well i have got them and i am wearing them as much as possible before our trip in case they need wearing in - yesterday was the ultimate test i walked 2 miles to our local shops and back, then walked around Bull Ring Birmingham, then walked around our local shopping centre. I think may have walked about 4 miles possibly more - which is a light day at disney :goodvibes . When i got back, usually my lower back would be aching and base of my feet hurt, but had none of that, just had a very small blister where the top had rubbed slightly (scutes are like flip flops but not thong type they have the thick bar across). i was very pleased and will definately be taking them with me (along with a couple of plasters just in case!) Also Al Pacino is wearing Crocs so if endorsed by the celebs it has got my vote :thumbsup2

I've heard good things about Teva trekking sandals - I'm planning on buying some of those for WDW next year as I've tried Crocs and looked ridiculous in them! :rotfl2: Sorry all you Crocs lovers!

As a Diabetic, I rotate shoes, wearing different types each day so as not to get the same design onto my feet.

I tend to alternate between well worn in trainers and sport sandles (no socks!). The sandles are useful for water rides where your feet may get wet.

croocs are great for the less street cred people out there, im mean they are really comfy but they look like something lego men should be wearing. I know all they celebs are wearing them but for me that is a bug minus point!!!. If its trainers you are after you cant go wrong with Nikes free collection especiallly the 5.0.they will outlast the crocs and will still look cool when the crocs are being sold at car boot sales.Have look on nike.com for details.
